Eliza Dushku In Boston Common

Eliza Dushku In Boston Common

I am so happy Extra TV posted these shots of Eliza Dushku in Boston Common because I have been dying to talk to about Dollhouse. It was a slow love (like True Blood), but I am totally hooked on the new show.

Is anyone watching yet? What do you think about Eliza each week? How about the storyline? I am really into it.

I couldn't get into it because I found her to be such a horrible actress. Interesting idea, though.

As an avid Buffy lover, it's in my contract to watch - and attempt to enjoy - anything and everything the main cast does post-Buffy. I've been watching, and I'll keep watching, Dollhouse, but I'm not sure how I feel about it just yet. That being said, I love Eliza. Always have. Always will.

I was hooked on Dollhouse after the first episode. Oddly I'm not a Buffy fan or a Firefly fan, but I REALLY love Dollhouse. I think Eliza is great in it. I can't wait for more.

I tried watching the first episode and ended up being distracted by other things because it the episode just wasn't nearly as interesting as they make it appear in the previews. Than I pretty much gave up after that (apparently too soon) because I typically have much better things to do on Friday nights. Friday night shows=bad idea. =^_^=

I was prepared to love it, but I don't like how it reminds me of Alias (I prefer to get really INTO a show and not think about other shows while I watch one). So far I like it enough to keep watching, but I really think it could go either way for me at this point. The pace of the story arc is going to matter. If it's too many disconnected episodes, I'm outta here.

It's growing on me. I like that each episode keeps adding a little piece to the puzzle. I just hope all the build up doesn't lead to something lame.

I read a critic's review about this show and he said that it lacks the humor and clever dialog that Joss Whedon's (sp?) is known for. I would agree with that. I was a huge Buffy fan and they did manage to add a bit of comic relief in every episode. Dollhouse could stand not to take itself too seriously.

It's a great concept, but she's not a strong enough actress to pull it off. You need someone who can convincingly take on different personalities. Eliza can only be herself, in my opinion.

I like it! The concept is so different and intriguing and how awesome for Eliza that she can play such different characters each week.

Love the show! And great for a boring Fiday night when nothing else is on at all!

Do you know when True Blood comes back on?

Not seen it but I'm surprised that it's not getting publicised in the larger press. I didn't even think it had started yet.

Oh well.
