Does Elnett Live Up To The Hype?

In a word, YES! I waited patiently until it hit U.S. stores earlier this year, and I have been using it ever since. EVER SINCE. Faithfully. Religiously! And I don't even use that much hairspray in the first place!!
Here's the background:
Hairstylists have been smuggling this through customs from Europe for decades for the simple reason that it genuinely works better than any other hairspray...Now L'Oreal has come out with a version that meets U.S. environmental standards--the ozone-damaging fluorocarbons have been removed..."
Does it live up to the hype?? With two versions--StrongHoldand Extra StrongHold (both $14.99 at Amazon)--you can spritz and spray to your heart's content and still brush through your hair without bristles getting caught here and there. What's more, your hair feels soft and natural, yet your style is kept right where you want it.
Does it work the same as the original?? From what I can tell, yes. But regardless, I for one am not missing those fluorocarbons!!

It works pretty well, but I wish they would change the smell!

I agree--I definitely prefer more fruity or floral scents!! There is an unfragranced version that you can get from Amazon, but it's alittle pricey ($24): Elnett Satin Unfragranced Extra Strength. I have chosen to live with it, I guess, but it may be worth a try for anyone who's really not into the scent at all!
