I have a tradition with my 2 lil ones. While Daddy sleeps in on Saturdays, we get up early and watch a movie together. It is something I have done with my daughter since she was 3 (she is almost 8 now) and now, my son joins in on the fun with us. This would be a wonderful addition to our collection.

My kids and I were so disappointed when we saw the movie as it was quite different from the book. The book is excellent and I'm not sure why the movie makers felt the need to change the story as the book was superb as is.

From the book we have on the same story we also stutter and stumble when reading the names of the little ones in the story ... names like
Botticelli Remorso and Chiaroscuro so seeing the movie will be a great help for all us of to learn the correct pronounciation of each and every name.

We took our two boys, ages 6 & 8 -- I thought the message was FABULOUS - so rare to get a "nice" positive message in movies without any crassness. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have a copy of this for our at home movie nights! If you haven't seen this (and don't win a copy) it is definitely worth you renting for your kids.
