Rihanna Gets A New Gun Tattoo On Ribs

According to his MySpace account, Rihanna's tattoo artist was flown into NY by the singer for a little work.
This is the result.
Rihanna wanted a gun tattooed somewhere on her body. They placed with a few placements, but ended up settling on the rib region.
The thumbnail shot is where BANGBANG wanted to originally place the guns, but decided against it considering Rihanna is a spokesperson for beauty products.

I get having a couple of tattoos, but she is starting to make herself look too gangsta and trashy. I think maybe she is losing her mind. She may need more help than previously thought. If you have to put a gun tattoo on your body as a warning for your abusive boyfriend to keep his hands off of you, it is time to move on. Geesh!!
I like the placement of them in the thumbnail photo. They have make up that covers tattoos. They are much cuter there.

I don`t like it because I don`t understand it. Esp. I don`t understand why there are pictures made of, does she want us all to see that? Reminds me of Britneys worst time, when she was in a tatoo studio and later got her hair shaved of. Just strange. Poor girl.

That tattoo is way too small. I have no idea why you would fly someone into do that- anyone could do that, honestly. She has all of these dinky tattoos all over herself. They look terrible and ridiculous.

Lovely... That's great. Promote a violent tatoo. I think she needs some counseling. Looks like she's used to an abusive relationship and this is somehow a side effect of that.
I predict she will be losing a lot of fans here soon not to mention her lucrative contracts (like Covergirl). When a major corporate sponsor like them starts to smell trouble and lack of public interest (or outrage), that's when they pull the plug!

LOL... so much criticism. Lovely. It's HER body, she can put whatever she wants on it. If she had that tattood on her face it shouldn't matter because she has the right to do it. "Promoting violence?" Right... because she's carrying guns around and flashing it in public, or handing them out to children. Get real! She has her own taste in tattoos... I agree that her tattoo doesnt promote violence. Is the tattoo of a gun blowing someone away? No. People are violent. Guns are inanimate objects and therefore cannot be violent. Is the tattoo stupid? Most people would probably think so...as I do, but so are tattoos of things like turkeys, anchors, naked ladies and skulls if you ask me.
Lots of people enjoy guns without violence. Get off her back and find some real issues to get irate about.
WHAT EVER, if this is suppose to make you feel impowered, because you came out of an abusive situation? It dosen't mean anything now if you are still with the person that tried to allegadly kill you. Get counseling not a new house.

I never called anyone immature. I also did not start bashing someone and calling them an elf or silly names simply because of their opinion. That is what I felt was immature.
I say live and let live when it comes to people making personal choices. Like whether or not to get a tattoo of any sort. Domestic violence is real and I have personally dealt with it in my own family and I would say that if it were someone I was close to, my main concern would be being a supportive and loving friend/family member and making sure that the person I care about is safe. But I would not be condeming that person for a tattoo. I simply feel that sure, the girl might have problems....but I would think that staying with someone who abuses is a bigger indicator of issues than a silly tattoo. That being said, none of us are involved in the situation and we are all entitled to our opinions.
