A local photographer who was shooting the Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady Costa Rican wedding showed the rest of the paparazzi what happened to his car after a security guard fired shots at him.
The guard demanded the photographer surrender the footage he took and was refused. In an attempt to get out of the party with the film, the photographer began to run to his car WHERE THE SECURITY GUARD BEGAN TO FIRE SHOTS - ONE HITTING THE CAR WINDOW.

When paparazzi get hit or have their camera taken away... they all come out and complain like victims and sue the stars. But when they cause death (Princess Diana) or traffic accidents, they don't even apologize for their actions.
Talk about a shotgun wedding.

Did they think they could go to a foreign country to escape the paps? They are rich beyond belief and it wouldn't have killed them to let a few local photogs take photos--since they are in their country and all. These two "celebrities" are just selfish, self absorbed, and completely in their own little worlds. Just like Madonna marching into a developing nation and demanding a child. These two go marching into a developing nation and demand a private wedding on the threat of bodily harm.
No they didn't go there to escape the paps. They went there to get married cause that's where she lives. Is it DEMANDING a private wedding to get married in your own house???????????????? So if you want to have a barbecue in your own backyard, does that mean you are selfish and self absorbed and I can just walk in and take pictures of your guests to make money from it? Or that does mean you are living in your own little world? Well those were your own statements and assumptions.

Actually, that's not where she lives at all. This was in Costa Rica, and she lives in Brazil (or used to, anyway).
And if she wanted so much privacy maybe she should have planned things better and with a security team so no paparazzi would even be able to get there in the first place.
Shooting the guy because he took a few pictures when was obviously not a threat to anyone is ridiculous, specially when it was the security team's fault for not doing a good enough job to keep him out of the party. So many famous people manage to keep their wedding private, she could have too, if she wanted it.
Yes she lives in Costa Rica. She is Brazilian but she owns a house in Costa Rica and that's where the wedding was.

The guy was INSIDE the party? He deserved to be shot at! Seriously..what the EFF is wrong with these paps? They are insane and will go to ANY lengths to pry into people's lives. It's DANGEROUS and so WRONG! Ugh.

To Mizzy- We only know one side of the story. People never get to hear what the paparazzi do to the stars and their security teams. We always get to hear the paparazzi suing the celebs for injuries, lost cameras, whatever. So you don't know if the paps went too far to not only endanger the couple's lives but also their guests. You don't know that cause they probably won't even talk. Paps like to play victims. They probably will use the public as an excuse that it's because people want to see the pics that's why they have to take them. I for once have to admit that I don't mind not seeing their wedding pics. I didn't see Halle Berry's wedding pic/baby pics, I didn't see Jessica Alba's wedding pics, I didn't see Scarlett Johanson wedding pics... and believe me I'M FINE WITH IT.
I think you are missing my point, which is that NO ONE deserves to be shot. I realize we didn't hear the paps side of the story, BUT I am willing to bet that the photographer did not put a gun to Tom Brady's head in order to force him to give a picture. If the paps sue celebrities the truth comes out in court, so they can't behave completely recklessly. While some people think it is alright to use guns to scare people off, I don't...you won't convince me otherwise.

they may not deserve to be shot, but they are not very nice either. once i was watching a tmz video of mk and they were calling her s.lut, w.hore & other "nice" terms just to make her look at them. i don't know how they handle themselves, because i'd probably kick their asses out if i was insulted all the time.
they make a living out of other's privacy, not very dignifying.
These paps don't care who they put in danger to get a shot. You should see them here in LA weaving thru traffic putting motorists in danger while chasing celebs for the perfect shot. Yet they are ALWAYS whining when they get caught.
I read Gisele's house is very difficult to get to. How the hell did this guy find a way in. He deserved it.

First of all, we always hear the paparazzi's side of the story, we never get to hear the other side. And plus, Gisele didn't shoot anybody.

She obviously had a good reason for, if the paparazzi they encountered were causing enough problems to actually shoot.

I for one, am happy that no one got hurt. Shooting is not the answer. The answer has to come with a change in the culture. That will leave the paps with no job. I think the only place that the paps should be at are red carpet venues, not acting like a predator waiting for a celebrity to do something dumb. If they want a job go work for National Geographic, at least they will not wreck the lives of wildlife. Celebrities are people that have feelings and I have seen some very aggresive actions that the paps use and this insanity must stop.

I am getting ready to plan my wedding and if some asshole, like an ex boyfriend showed up and tried to ruin it, I would break his knee caps with a baseball bat. So, that's pretty much the equivalent of what the Paps did to Gisele and Tom. They shot out his window. Good, now the money he makes off the photos can go to replace it and he doesn't need to sue them. I think he got off easy. My fiance woulda beat the living crap outta him. why did they announce the world that they're getting married for the second time if they wanted privacy?????? stop bragging about it to the media or they wouldn't have been in this mess in the first place. kinda stupid on their part. I think they're just mad because they wanted their wedding pictures go to the highest bidder and makes lots of money...if the paps got a shot of their wedding then the pictures no longer worth much money. greedy bitches.
I guess you are what people call "the voice of reason". Ya right! So next time you or one of your family member or friends announce your wedding or engagement in the newspaper, expect me there! You are crazy. They didn't announce their wedding to the world. And even if they did, nobody has the right to go to their own homes and crash it.
look I'm not a celebrity nor do I want to be....but when you're a public figure, you don't go out and blab about your personal life and then expect privacy. It just doesn't work that way. And yes they did announce they wedding to the world...because how did we know they were getting married for the second time? how did we know the wedding was going to take place in Costa Rica and all the other details. They need to keep their mouth shut. and BTW, the paps did not crash their wedding....they actually had permission from a neighbor to shoot the wedding ceremony which is about 300 feet away. They did not break the law. As much as I can't stand the paps the security guard had no rights to shoot them.

yep that's the story goes....a neighbour gave them permission to use their property to take pictures of their wedding ceremony.
