Nicole Richie Leaving The Salon

Nicole Richie Leaving The Salon

Nicole Richie was mobbed by photographers as she left the Byron & Tracey Salon in Beverly Hills showing off her cute baby bump in a fitted black tee. A part of me would love to fly down to California and make an appointment with this uber popular salon to see what the big fuss is all about. I've had one bad experience after the next trying out new places in my own town! :(

Have you or anyone you know been to this salon? Is it worth the price (I assume it's expensive)? We see celeb after celeb choosing these stylists for maintenance of their look.

she looks adorable but i would probably trade the botties for a pair of flip flop or flats lol..... i will also love to go over to that Salon and give it a try and maybe is not that expensive after all but is the trip from NY to LA that i wouldn't do ha! (just for the salon experience that is).

I have been to Tracy as a client at the other salon she worked for in Beverly Hills and did about three sessions with her. The first visit was great, she listened and improved the previous stylists coloring that I had on my hair. The second visit was less thrilling, she had multiple clients going on at the same time and the color was more low lights than highlights.. The third was my last, she paid no attention to what she was doing and instead of highlights I ended up with brassy gold streaks. At a cost of more than a car payment plus a huge tip (expected of course) for her and various assistants, shampoo person, etc... my advice would be to save your money. I received an email several months ago announcing the move to her own place and honestly, she would have to pay me to return. Unless your a celebrity, forget about it.

When I worked/lived in BH I had very similar experiences at several of these top salons...unless you're a celeb they just don't care once they have your card filled out.

Then I moved over to a place in manhattan beach and have been happy, happy ever since.

she PAID for that hair?

Aren't you NOT supposed to use hair dye when you're pregnant?

Good job nicole.

Who said she dyed her hair or did anything to her hai? They do much more than hair in salons nowadays. My mother owns one so I should know.

Hair salons are a joke. All the do is rip you off and/or screw up your hair. Buy the supplies at a store and do it yourself at home - it's not very hard. People act like hair dyeing is rocket science and can only be done properly by a "professional." What makes them "professionals?" The 8 months of "beauty school" or whatever. Ha. =^_^=

Ellie... I agree with you. I've never had a Vogue looking cut by a stylist, no matter what I pay. I've done it myself with a razor blade and had much better results - same thing with color - all they ever do is put yellow streaks in your hair for hi lights. Save your money, be brave & just do it yourself.
These hairstylists use their "brush with celebrities" to drag in the masses but then they cant be bothered to deliver any interest in you.

I go to B2V in Beverly Hills. I love it there. I've always been happy with my hair and they give great service to everyone, not just celebs
