Pete Wentz Parties In Vegas
Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are ever the proud parents. Just this week Ashlee Twittered a photo of her little angel, Bronx saying, "I present you my little man and his
adorable cheeks!" But, parenthood isn't stopping Pete from having a good time.
After a show in Las Vegas, Pete, Holly Madison, and 50 band members, dancers and friends had a wild party.
"Everybody was going absolutely crazy. People were even drunkenly playing makeshift Slip 'n' Slide with a mat
and lubricant. And Pete was in great spirits. He was dancing and
singing along to his band's own songs, grinding up against the
dancers."Pete was even "dancing on a pool table with the girls."
Ashlee had just left Pete on the road the day before. She twittered while driving home saying, "I am beyond sad to leave my love... My heart is breaking as we drive home."
How would you feel if you were Ashlee seeing these pictures?

I would be beyond peed off if I were in Ashleigh's shoes. This is really inappropriate behavior for a married man, regardless of his profession. What an @$$hole.

Such is the life of a "rockstar" but still, a little decorum would have been nice. He has a son now and needs to set an example for him.

Personally, I wouldn't be pissed. Pete's just having a good time. It's not like he's knocking boots with the girls, or anything. As long as he partied responsibly, I don't see a problem.
How do we know what he did after the party ? I would be PO'd. It's one thing if your husband did this and it is a whole new ballgame when they are celebs and do it for everyone to see. How embarrassing for her !!!

I'm sure Ashlee is a confident woman who doesn't feel the need to act all jealous, possessive and needy - which is probably why Pete feels free enough to enjoy himself without her.

Yes, it is about feeling "jealous, possessive and needy". A confident and secure woman should be like, "He is only partying and grinding up to hookers and skanks, no big deal. I am a confident and mature woman, no need for me to be upset." Yes. That makes sense. What a logic gap there. It is one thing to trust your husband and "let" him do what he wants and another whole thing not to mind him dancing and touching skanks.
I agree. True, women can be needy and insecure and if this were about being upset simply because another attractive woman merely existed in the vicinity I would also say it is insecurity. But it is a mind game against women to try to shut us up whenever we have a legitimate gripe by accusing of us lacking confidence or being insecure. As if I need to prove I am confident by being okay with anything my man wants to do even if it is something he would be mad as hell at me if I did the same thing. I don't know Pete, but many guys think women should be 'okay' with them partying with grinding, half naked women but they would feel possessive and disrespected if they saw pictures of their woman acting that way. It's harmless when they do it but very threatening when we do it. Hmmmmmm.......

I don't see the big deal with dancing around and parting with his freinds. He didnt bring strippers back to hotel room alone.. it was a party. like the other comment said, if he partied responsibly, then there is nothing wrong with it. I am sure he comes home to the right woman in the end!
I can believe how many people are OK with this ! Maybe it is because he is a likeable person or they are not married. If it were K-Fed or someone who is not as well-liked, I am sure that there would be much more harsh comments !

I don't care if he partied "responsibly" as some people have said. The way he's looking at that one girl shows complete and utter disrespect for his wife. No wonder there's so many divorces if so many people are okay with this. A little of this and a little of that, leads to a heck of a lot more...
If he was My Husband, he would be in BIG trouble. He's a married man, he needs to be going to bed and getting up ALONE if Ashlee isn't there, and letting anyone who isn't his wife rub up against him, let alone taking pictures of it, is NOT a good thing. His energy needs to go for Ashlee and their son, not the slut in the G-string using him like a stripper pole.

From things I have read over the years about what goes on backstage before and after a concert with rock stars--this is nothing. I am sure that Ashlee is well aware of the things that go on when the band is on tour. At least he has his clothes on in the pictures. And as for the way he is looking at the rather scantily clad female--he is married, not dead. There isn't a man alive who wouldn't be admiring a pretty girl with little clothing on. And if you think that isn't true, you better start watching where your man's eyes are glancing. Looking is ok--touching is a whole other thing.

Not ok.... how humiliating for her to be twittering about how much she misses him and he is out grinding on other women - obviously not missing her. Not very respectful if you ask me - maybe those rumors about them were true! Sad... My husband would be in BIG trouble!

Wow, the only person who can say if this is inappropriate behavior or not is his wife. I have a feeling that she knows him and what his life is like a lot better than we do and she wouldn't be with him if she had a problem with it. Please note the women and men in the background of these pictures laughing at the SHOW they're putting on. If it were clandestine or inappropriate, I hardly think he'd allow a.) an audience, or b.) pictures to have been taken.
I'm a married woman, and my heart hurts for the reaction Ashlee will probably have when she sees these pictures. I'm sorry, but once you are married, and especially once you are married with kids the party is supposed to stop for both people. It's now about being each other's partner, and having your needs met by each other, not while staring into the eyes of a stripper wearing next to nothing while your wife is at home taking care of your baby and sending messages about how much she loves and misses you to the world.
The words "tasteless" and "immature" come to mind when I see him.

Well, now I'm confused. All the gossip buzz I hear about him is that he's closeted gay, which makes these pictures not dangerous at all.
I was at The Palms hanging out with 7 of my girlfriends for the party with Pete Wentz this past weekend. I have to admit, he was awesome. He was dancing and just having a great time. My girlfriends and I were up there for pretty much the entire night before heading to Moon at 1:30am, and Pete was definitely BEHAVING!! He was dancing, yes, but mostly with the girls who work for The Palms... not so much the general public. Plus, he had on his wedding ring the entire time. He's cool and doesn't really deserve all this bashing.

My friends and I were invited and attended this party and he was TOTALLY 150% faithful ... DIDN'T even seem like he was checking the ladies out ... just wanted to get crazy with his fans and have fun!!

I totally agree with the earlier comments about what women are supposed to be cool with. Basically, if a woman doesn't want her man to disrespect her by behaving inappropriately around other women, then all of a sudden we are insecure and obsessed. But, the problem is completely our society's approach to male/female relationships. Lets look at domestic violence, for example:
The question always tends to be "why didn't SHE leave him".. instead of being, why the hell did HE abuse her! The focus is always on the female, and the male gets off scot free.
Its a shame that nowadays it seems like old fashioned values and respect have gone down the drain. That's why so many marriages end up in divorce. I have never been cynical about relationships, but I'm losing hope. It just seems like with social networking sites, reality tv, and everything else that men and women just genuinely don't respect each other anymore.
That's it.. I'm off my soapbox now!

I personally wouldn't be happy with my husband doing this, but maybe Ashlee is. If she is, good luck to her. I'm glad I'm not Pete Wentz's wife, for sure.
