It screams Katie. One of her nicknames is stepford Katie. It was always thought that if there was a divorce that Tom would demand any kids live with him. Katie has distanced herself from her family since hooking up with Tom. Her father is a lawyer. She does seem to spend time on both coasts. However, it does sound way too obvious.

First person that came to my mind was Katie too, haven't seen them together in a few weeks. Although these blind items are always sorta misleading...
First thought that came to my mine is Katie. She and Tom have not been together in awhile. There are a few pics of them with Suri and one pic of them together at his premiere. Tom never really lets Nicole seen her kids. They don't even call her mom. They actually Katie mom.
Sarah Jessica Parker? Rumours have been around for a while that she and Matthew Broderick are splitting up. And he was in the Stepford Wives.

It’s not Faith Hill. She’s very close to her parents and family. Katie seems to be the logical choice. The thing about blind items is they can be very obvious or very deceptive.

there are always clues in the way these blind things are worded. the "kid/s" thing is weird. it can either mean they have one kid and one on the way. or it means they have one kid together and one of them has others they brought to the marriage.

no. the reason it says 'kid/s' is because they don't want to reveal if it's one child or more. it's the same thing as kid(s). revealing how many children there are would make it too easy.
It can't be Katie because it mentions "kid/s." Katie wouldn't have any parental rights to Tom & Nicole's children. I'm going to guess SJP.
The same applies to SJP she only has one Child.
I am going to say Faith Hill. And for the record we dont know how close she is with her parents, only speculations. Tim pulled out of the music awards last week or week before last no indication why. I hope not but you never know.

This is brilliant. Using stepford wife is going to make people run to Katie Holmes which is not correct, at least not for this one. Also, she has always been close to her parents even through the scientology debacle. Think the cast of the remake, and you will have your answer.
Gabrielle you are very very very wrong. Tom Cruise only allows Katie's parents to visit CA from OH when he is at home. (If he were off filming a movie for example they would not be allowed there with her.) It's almost like supervised visits--as he is aware neither one of them is that keen on Scientology and cannot risk a 'suppressive' point of view in his home.

Okay, so I read the following on another site DListed.com:
"This celebrity couple’s pre-nuptial agreement required the wife to stay in the relationship for a certain amount of time. However, the Stepford Wife’s law firm has decided that it may be difficult to impossible for the husband to enforce this. It seems that the wife knows much more than she should about the husband’s long-time and very personal relationship with another high-profile man. She is using that knowledge to get her sentence reduced and to to gain custody over the couple’s kid/s. It’s still not Nicole Kidman."
Tom and Katie have a pre-nup. The kid/s reference is only to say there is ONE or MORE children. Hence the SLASH before the 's'.
There has also been recent speculation that Katie is preggers again which could account for the 's'. In addition...and mind you this just my opinion, but Tom has always seemed a little off. Tom also has somewhat public and quite close relationship to another A list male actor. So maybe it is Katie.... Run girl, run!!
