Jon Gosselin Responds To Us Weekly Cheating Cover
The man has 8 children! Can't he get a night out every once in a while without it being about cheating on his wife?
This week's Us Weekly's cover shows Jon Gosselin in a car with a female after a late night of partying at a local club. The magazine goes on to say sources heard the woman shouting, "Hey, babe! Babe! Give me my jacket!" before the two of them jumped in Jon's car and sped off without the headlights on.
The Jon and Kate Plus 8 dad responded to their allegations:
“I went to Legends to speak to the owner. A friend of mine wanted to check out my car, so I let her drive it to her car,” he says. “Yes, I have female friends — but that is all she is. I’m not going to end my friendships just because I’m on TV.”
“It is certainly hurtful for people to spread rumors and lies about us. It certainly makes me reluctant to live my life like the average person would. This has made it very clear that the simplest innocent gesture -— such as taking a picture with a fan, can be taken out of context. As you can see on the show, I am not perfect, but I am a part of a loving family and couple.”
What do you think about his excuse? At 2AM, the woman wanted to test drive Jon's car and drive it to where she was parked? Do you think Jon is a cheater?

i have heard rumors about them separating... US weekly seems to always be on point ... so maybe there is some truth to this "rumor."

His family has pimped out to a reality show for years! What's normal about that? His wife is a crazy harpy who thinks it's excusable and funny to scream at and berate everyone in her life. They are a pathetic twosome.

Well, Kate really has him by the balls. So I think he would terrified of cheating. I seriously don't understand how their relationship works. She's a mega b!tch and he has absolutely no backbone. Hey, maybe that's what floats their boat??
I don't think we'll ever know the truth...Jon and Kate both have a way of embellishing the truth. And yes, they are defenitely a pathetic twosome. I'll also add GREEDY to that.

They are both pathetic, greedy and vile individuals and what they do is no concern to me. I am just appalled that they get press and that they have a t.v. show. They had 2 healthy children to begin with all they did was get greedy in every aspect of the game. They are disgusting and they make me sick.
Aren't you overreacting, just a bit? Maybe they wanted a big family and not just two kids. Who in the hell are you to judge them? Look, I don't much care for her personality...at least the way she comes across on the show, but come on???? Calling them "vile" and "greedy" just shows how pathetic and immature you are. Grow up! Oh, and FWIW, obviously what they do is of great concern to you otherwise you would have kept your mouth shut and not responded the way you did.

I live very close to "Jon & Kate", anytime he has been seen out - either at a store or the ski slope, he's always been very friendly and always willing to talk to anyone who approaches him. I think sometimes things can be taken out of context, it could have been 9pm when this photo was taken and its being portrayed as being 2am. Every relationship has their ups and downs and I am sure this family is no dfferent. Unfortunately for them, the media always makes a "molehill into a mountain".

While I don't know how their sex life is, I wouldn't put it past him to find someone else that treats him better than that lady he calls a wife. She is sooo horrid. I mean eight children can put a lot of strain an a marriage, but that is no excuse for her to be treating him in that manner. I think he should get back his pair and start treating her like she treats him.

I wouldn't put it past him to cheat. He puts up w/ so much ridicule from her. If the photographer did lie & say that it was 2:00am when it was, in fact, a reasonable hour (like just after dark), then I could believe that he wasn't cheating. But if it was 2:00am....he's definitely cheating! You just don't do stuff like that in the middle of the night w/o your spouse & NOT be cheating.
If you read the above response he gave.... this is the same exact response he gave months ago when he was caught at that college bar.
This is just a recycled response, verbatim, to the one from back then.
Funny, his statement didn't say anything about him loving his wife or that he would never cheat. And "part of a loving family and couple" is a indirect. Like, I'm part of the marriage but... :/

To me getting away from the kids for awhile should be hanging out with the guys, maybe seeing a sporting event, not hanging with your lady friends at a bar until 2am. Sorry, if he did in fact do this, then something is not right.

I disagree, that just puts males into that classic 'role' that they should only do certain things. Let them be. IT's like saying in order for women to have a good time they have to be shopping for kitchenware or painting their toes.

Any press is good press! Kate has a new book out! Viewership has been lost this last year. What better ways to up your rating then to cause drama that will make people tune in.

There is no way this couple is happy and I say this as someone that used to watch the show regularly. I had to stop because I got sick of listening to them talk about how much work everything was when we all know that they have a ton of nannies, personal chefs, personal assistants, etc. Not saying 8 kids is easy even with that much help, but it isn't a reality show anymore. Anyway, I have a feeling that they have both decided to go their "separate" ways and are staying together for the show's sake - gotta make money somehow. There have been rumors for awhile of Jon actually living with his parents most of the time. My whole point is that I don't doubt he's out messing with other women, but I wouldn't call it cheating because I also don't doubt that Kate knows about it and is doing the same thing. Whatever floats their boat - I personally don't like the way they portray their lives/children, so I just choose not to watch the show anymore.

WOW there are some angry people here! I don't know what was going on, and if that is a quote from him, and it was 2am, and I was Kate, I'd be concerned. BUT- we do not know the circumstances there are a million explanations, good and bad.
It is really sad to see so many people feeding on propaganda and magnifying this couple's every fault ... but then, I suppose, that's the same prejudiced perspective that keeps celebrity gossip a billion dollar industry. Whether these allegations are true or false, the only reasonable response is one of concern and compassion for this marriage and family.
I've been reading posted sightings of Jon and a young brunette elsewhere in Reading and Philly restaurants the last few weeks but, blew it off because
A. How could he be THAT stupid? and
B. He could have been misidentified by an eager fan.
If this IS his "FRIEND", why doesn't she speak out & defend him? I have a feeling if she is located there is going to be another tidbit to be had in this sordid tale!
BOTTOM LINE: Who cares IF you stay together J&K, you two gallivanting morons need to get your butts home, consol your children and do better for them than your substandard attempt at marriage!
I watch the show often. Kate does treat him (in his own words) as a "dog" from time to time. I dislike Kate, and the person she has become. She belittles Jon in front of America, and the rest of the world. She "nit-picks" his choice of words, his playful manner, his parenting, and of all things his weight. I believe she treats him like crap because she knows he would never leave his children. Jon in my opinion, is a great father and an amazing man. How many guys out there nurture their children in the manner he does? As well, how many men would put up with a women like Kate? I really hope Jon isn't cheating for the sake of his children. If he is, I honestly don't blame him.
The extensive media attention to this disaster should be focused on what is happening to these poor children. There has been at issue since this family became a show, how there is a need for National child labor laws. These children are working & supplying their parents w/ the good life all the while their privacy is invaded at all hours of the day. WHERE are the children’s paychecks going? Maintaining a 1.3 million ESTATE, sports cars, Dad’s partying like a rock star, Mom on a continuous lecture/book tour, full time round the clock nannies, shopping in pricey stores, all excesses of the adults.
The children need the help of the Federal/State’s legal system to put their funds in trust and govern their education and work hours!
