Meeting Young Professionals

Meeting Young Professionals

Hubby found this networking group close by that meets once and month and is for local people who have their own businesses. He thought it would be fun to meet new people and have a night away from the kids.

So we went.

I can understand why these groups exist - especially in the service industry. What better way for a financial adviser to meet new clients?

However, the benefit a celebrity gossip blogger can offer is still left to be determined. Not too sure what I was going to bring to the table. But we had fun either way. :)

Then Bill wanted to grab dinner, so I ordered a few appetizers and got the tallest soda I've ever seen. I barely put a dent in it.

:)

Day two on the hair and it's still straight - getting greasy though. I can't wash it until SATURDAY. OMG. And I can't put a clip in it - so it has to stay DOWN dirty.

ugh

I hate to break it to you, but it's pretty much going to stay that way. The Keratin Shampoo feels AWFUL, no lather and your hair never really feels clean. And you can't use regular shampoo, because it strips the process out. Everytime you wash, a little more comes out... so you have to spread it out and become friends with shower caps. Your hair ir straight, but never feels clean. If I do it again, I think I will only do the bottom half of my hair.

Great Website!! Thanks for coming last night. What will you get from the Garden City Young Professional Group? 3.5 things:

1. A night out away from the kids and a great dinner at Mumon (BTW how great was the sushi!!)

2. A way to meet a few people who may be interested in advertising on your site

3. A chance to give back to a local charity

1/2 . An invitation to our summer pub crawl
And yes.... you got a chance to meet a financial advisor or two

It was great meeting you and your husband last night and let me know if there is anything I can do to help you grow your business.

I have had some success with meetup.com, I am in wine groups, dog groups, board game groups, pretty much everything for everyone. Regarding your hair, when you do wash it you will need to make sure you really massage your scalp and rinse well. If the shampoo isn't going to really lather like the other folks are saying this will help your scalp get clean. You don't scrub, just massage. I only shampoo my hair twice a week because of scalp sensitivities and the other days I just use water and massage. If you finish with a cool (not cold) rinse it also helps you hair not be so oily from my experience. Hot water tells your glands to produce more oil. I hope it works out for you!
