Sarah Jessica Parker Can't Stop Worrying About Her Twins

Sarah Jessica Parker worries about the surrogate carrying her twins “on an
hourly basis”.
I can't even imagine what this must feel like. You are so protective when you are carrying the baby yourself - forgot about a surrogate!! That loss of control must be paralyzing.

The ‘Sex and the City’ actress is appalled at the attention the woman
carrying her daughters has received - she is followed by photographers and
has reportedly had her phone tapped - and is concerned the scrutiny could
cause difficulties in the pregnancy.

“On a daily basis, on an
hourly basis, I am greatly concerned for her health and safety and the safe
delivery of our children. Obviously there are those that don’t care about
her, or her health, or safety, or my children’s health and safety, and that
they should go to term and not go into an early labor and, god forbid,
suffer all the things that can happen - that is a real possibility.

“It keeps me up every night. It’s really incredibly upsetting to think of
her so far away and me not being able to do something.”

The 44-year-old actress – who already has a six-year-old son, James Wilkie,
with her husband Matthew Broderick – decided to use a surrogate after
struggling to get pregnant over the last few years.
Sarah and Matthew were amazed to discover they will be parents to twins, and
James is also looking forward to his role as older brother.
She added to ‘Access Hollywood’:

“We didn’t expect it. I think
after a certain amount of time, you tend to hold your hopes at bay a bit so
as not to be disappointed. One really would have been thrilling and we
would’ve felt incredibly lucky. And two was a comedy!

“James is really excited. He’s very much ready to be an older brother. I
think it gives him a great sense of pride. It’s wonderful and I just hope
for their safe arrival.”

That loss of control would be too hard to handle! I would want her to come live with me or something just to be involved in the process!

It must be a difficult time for everyone involved. I can't wait to see the babies. Does anyone know if they are they SJP's biological children? Just curious?
I wish I could afford a surrogate to have twins for me!

That kid is so ugly. Let's hope the twins are better looking.

that is so mean (but it made me laugh a little bit). i don't think he's ugly. a little plain, yes. he has matthew's face and her hair. i do wonder why his pants are always so short, though.

then why did they announced the world about it? they could have shut their mouth and did everything privately and then they wouldn't have anything to worry about.

They would still have the exact same worries, we just wouldn't know aboutit. Think before you post.

no dummy! as usual vera doesn't print the whole story. according to people magazine:

The Sex and the City star said the heightened media attention has led to an invasion of the woman's privacy, Access Hollywood reports.

The surrogate's telephone and computer have been hacked into, and she has received threats, Parker says, adding that the stress has taken its toll on her, and she worries about the surrogate "and the safe delivery of our children."

"I care deeply about her, and I am incredibly outraged by the sort of extraordinary and unprecedented invasion of her privacy," Parker says in the interview, which airs Tuesday. "I think even given the unfortunate way we live now ... it has still shocked me, and it has still really disappointed me."

I read that they announced it because some media got wind of it and was about to announce it anyway... they just took control by doing it themselves.

Yep, US Weekly, Star or another of those rags found out and were going to publish it so they gave their story before that could happen.

It's awful that the surrogate is treated like that, but eh, don't announce it then! Convenient it was announced when Matthew had a show to promote, and if it was going to come out, they could just have denied it! Yes she would worry about the surrogate in private anyway, but now there's a whole lot of added pressure that COULD have been avoided
