Mandy Moore Has No Desire To Be A Swizzle Stick
Mandy Moore isn’t a size zero because she’s “not 14 anymore”.
The 'I Wanna Be With You' singer is trying to embrace her "womanly curves", but can't help being disappointed when she looks in a full-length mirror.
"I'm not a swizzle stick – I'm not 14 anymore.
"I appreciate when there are other women out there who are beautiful and aren't, you know, a pound. I feel lucky that I don't feel pressure to have my whole life be controlled by whether I fit into a certain size."
Despite being happy with her size, Mandy – who married alternative rocker Ryan Adams in March – isn’t a fan of certain parts of her body.
“I still have a love-hate relationship with my hips.”

The singer– whose new album 'Amanda Leigh' is due to be released later this year – insists even celebrities don't look good all the time.
She explained to People magazine:
"When you're a star, you have professionals who make you look a certain way. I can't roll out of bed and look that way.
I'm very comfortable with the way that I look, but it's not fair for women to use someone or something as a bar. It's not reality, for anyone. I am happy to be myself and represent something different for women."

There's something about her lately that reminds me of Diane Lane. (looks-wise) I think most of us have a love-hate relationship with our hips. LOL
I hope she doesn't let herself go, she is looking older, look at those close up photos... For a woman in her early 20s she's kind of looking early 30s.
In terms of looking older than she is aside from hair style and sense of dress she can't exactly control the toll the ageing process takes on her!

I am so sick of hearing about people looking 'old' when they are like 26! It's not a sin to get old for goodness sake! Happens to everyone! Also Mandy is like a size 6 at the most- sick of size four and six people being the examples of 'acceptance' of your curves. Hollywood is so distorted!

Although I currently have "too many" curves (LMAO!), if I didn't have shapely hips my shoulders would seem too wide and my tatas too big. So no complaints.
I think Mandy has had better hair than this current style. Doesn't flatter her pretty face. Nor does her too-dark makeup.

Um.. Mandy Moore is 25 (mid 20s, NOT early 20s). And exactly what is so "old looking" about her? The only thing that she needs to change is the hair color since she looks better with a lighter shade. Other than that she looks fabulous and anyone who thinks otherwise is j-e-a-l-o-u-s! =^_^=

What do I have against bleached blondes? What "don't" I have against bleached blondes!? I think people should be happy with the hair color God gave them and frankly the bleach thing, a little dated. You think I like being a dark blonde? No, but I'm not going to take an hour out of my day to dye it so I can POSE as a brunette. And yes, I do find fat people disgusting. Everyone IS built different"ly", but that doesn't mean they should starve themselves or eat in excess.

That dress is ugly and I am SO SICK of this 'curves are in' and 'proud of my curves' b.s. She is at most a size 6 and the average American woman is like a 14. BIG DIFFERENCE. Lets not get fat and curvy confused cuz honestly that is what I see happening. 10 years ago a size 6 was the average American woman's size. Stop being lazy, work out and eat well. Seeing fat women everywhere is so disheartening and trust me being 'skinny' or 'blond' does not make you 'a fake B!$%h'. Some of us LOVE being thin, there is never anything to hide or to cover up. There is nothing we cant wear and we are becoming the minority so therefore we are starting to get 'special treatment'. No one wants to hire overweight people, they do it cuz they have to but face it if you and I walk into an interview, even if I am less qualified I am getting the job. Isn't that a good enough reason to get in shape? But I guess I just must be j-e-a-l-o-u-s cuz having a 23" waist and working hard at the gym which allows me to eat whatever I want sucks so bad. I haven't really heard much of Mandys music other than the stuff from her films but I think she is great. She has a great body, tall, slim but with curves and a gorgeous face. I love/hate my nose, sometimes I love that it's not perfect and that it makes me a bit more different and then theres the times I think 'gah I need a nose job', I doubt I ever will but there are days/weeks I consider it.
I've met her... she was lovely then and stil lovely now...she's a beautiful and smart woman...
Mandy does not look older then she really is. It comes with life and she looks beautiful and real Ive always loved that about her she is realstic and a good role model. I think she is perfect size and she has always stayed true to herself. Good for her! I am 23 married with 2 kids i looked 5 years younger 2 years ago its life.
