Billy Ray Cyrus Took Miley To Get Her Nose Pierced

Well, it's better she did it with her father instead of on her own right?

Billy Ray Cyrus took his 16-year-old daughter Miley to get her nose pierced.
The ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ singer was unsure about the ‘Hannah Montana’ actress having the piercing, but wanted to be with her when it happened.

"She said, 'Daddy would you take me to get my nose pierced?' I said, 'Did you ask your mamma?' and she said, 'Mamma said I can do it if you would take me.'
"We went to a little place in studio city. I felt kind of nervous."

I don't think this is such a crazy thing. A nose piercing (especially one as tiny as Miley's stud) isn't the wildest thing this 16 year old could be doing. And at least she went to a safe, clean place with her father.

Ew. Daddy and mamma. Ewww.

Come on she's 16 and she's from the South- there's nothing wrong with that

AT LEAST IT WASN'T HER NIPPLE!!>>>>OR WORSE. The things we find shocking in this country are just funny. There are some people who still think it's naughty for young girls to get their EARS pierced. Probably the same people who think that showing your ankles is sexy.

what's the big deal?? when i was 15, my mom really really wanted me to get a nose piercing because she thought it would look really good on me...it's not any different than an ear piercing which many parents get for their kids before they even enter grade school!

im not a fan of Miley Cyrus as an artist, actress, musician, etc...however, it seems like everytime a story comes out about her people manage to twist it into something sinister and dirty - when it actually is very innocent and normal!

Anonymous Anonymous said:

the only sinister thing here is your family. your mom made you get your nose peirced. What a sick woman. I guess innocent and normal wouldn't be adjectives to describe your family.

are you insane? because as a practicing psychologist, i think there is a good chance you are.

Treat yourself then. You need it if yo think there is nothing wrong with a mom forcing her underage daughter to pierce her nose. Some psychologist you are.

She said her tried to convince her to do it.
She didn't said she was forced to do it.
And she doesn's say that she actually did it.

My mom took me to get my nose pierced when I was 16. She said, "I'll let you get this done if you promise me you will not get a tattoo." Haha! It worked. I was so happy with my nose ring that I didn't even think about getting another piercing much less a tattoo. When I decided to get rid of the ring a couple of years later, I was happy to find that the resulting scar was unnoticeable.

I would take me child if she asked me.. I'd rather me take her then go to some dump with friends to get it and have it get infected. Besides i think she looks cute with it.

Much better than a tattoo. ;-) I saw a picture of the piercing and it looks very cute.

I don't understand nose piercings. Why would you want something stuck up in your nose?! Ew. It doesn't even look good on anyone.

I don't think it's a big deal. Piercings are not permanent. Tattoos are though. When we have kids our teenager is welcome to get piercings (that aren't in private places) with our blessing but they can wait until they are 18 to make a decision about a tattoo on their own because that is for life!

I think nose pierced are cute - as long as it's not too big or a nose ring or anything like that!!

Piercings can be removed and they grow over quickly once the ring or stud is removed. And yeeah , it is a whole lot safer to go along and make sure they are done right and safely rather than having the kids sneak around having their friends do it for them.

I got a nose ring in the 10th grade. I was struggling in Calculus and my mom said, 'If at the end of the year, you have at least a B, you can get the nose ring.' I got a B+ and both my parents took me to get it. On the night of my HS graduation, I went with my best friend and her mom to get our belly button pierced.

does anyone else find it disturbing that a 16 year old calls her parents mama and daddy? wow.

I am from a country family, and I have uncles that are in their 70's that still call their parents momma and daddy. It doesn't seem strange to me at all.

As far as the nose piercing...I have seen the pictures and I think that while I am not a huge fan of facial piercings, it does not look bad. Very tasteful.

My mum has been wanting me to get my nose pierced for a while now. My dad took me to get my belly button pierced when I was 12, yeah that seems kinda bad looking back at it now.

I could never just go up to my dad and be "Can I get my nose pierced?" I want my bellybutton done and if I ever even mentioned it to my dad, he'd freak and be using a metal detector for the rest of the month.
