Al Roker Defends Himself Against Heidi and Spencer Pratt
You know this story isn't going to die that easily. At least, Al Roker isn't going to let it die without responding to Heidi and Spencer Pratt's claims that they were "personally attacked" on the 'Today' show.
'Was [yesterday's interview] an attack? I don't think so,' he said on Tuesday's Today show. 'I believe I asked what a lot of people wanted to know.'"
Heidi reportedly said she "cried" after the interview, and Spencer claimed it was a good thing he was "saved by Jesus" or he would have "ripped" Al's head off.
'Look,' Roker went on, 'they are so un-used to people actually asking
them a real question, that they didn't know how to handle it.''There are a lot of celebrities -- real celebrities, who've actually done something -- who [can] act civil.' "
Al also pointed out he's interviewed "hundreds of women on this program and never had a complaint."

I watched that interview and I thought the questions asked were exactly what I would have wanted to ask them. I am totally on Al's side and I can't even believe that any other side would exist!

AMEN! Can't stand any of these non-entities. They are famous for what? Showing their assess on tv...puhlease. Any donkey can do that. I'd rather see this site, as well as television and movies, reserved for actual stars, not the wanna-be nobodies of "reality" television. "Reality" Television is what is ruining the younger generation and the country. Turn off the tv and get into the REAL WORLD!

ok not gonna lie here. Defintely think these two twats are ridiculous and need to go away, and I've never watched an episode of any show they've been on (only know about them from gossip blogs).
I'm glad he asked those questions, BUT I don't think Al gave them a fair chance to answer the questions. Especially when he asked about the "torture" he didn't let them defend themselves.

I watched the interview and thought it was funny that they couldn't answer some simple questions. They see nothing wrong in what they do. Unbelievable! And as a side note, being a Christian myself, I HATE it when they keep bringing that up, it's a complete embarrassment for real Christians!

I watched the interview and it wasn't an attack at all. Like, what world is these two idiots living in when they can't respond to simple question? He did give them time to respond but they kept giving BS answers and he was calling them out on it.
Al was obvously trying 2 antiagonize them well heidi more so....

While Heidi and Spencer are obviously lashing out because someone asked them *real* questions for once, I do agree that Roker didn't give them a chance to answer fairly and he did have an aggressive tone. Whether you agree with Speidi's "fame" or whatever, it's the interviewer's job to be professional and treat the people he or she is interviewing with respect, and I don't think Roker did a very good job with that. He should have been a more professional and respectful interviewer, whoever the people he was interviewing were and what he thinks of them!

Spencer is so annoying and Heidi's starting to really annoy me too. They just love the attention that they're getting. They're just gonna keep pulling these stupid stunts and the press will keep going crazy until someday they'll be forgotten (hopefully). I mean they can't be famous forever right?

I watched this interview that you,guys, are talking about. Telling the truth, I'm on the Al's side too. Anyway it was a good way to make people talking about him once again.
What a show! Celebrities like to be in the center of everybodies attention so much! Team Al!
It all sounds like a banal scandal with celebrities. Anyway Al was great.
