"My brother, the legendary king of pop, Michael Jackson, passed away on Thursday, June 25, at 2:26 p.m.
"The personal physician who was with him at the time attempted to resuscitate my brother - as did paramedics who transported him to the hospital. Upon arriving at the hospital at approximately 1:14 p.m., a team of doctors, including emergency physicians and cardiologists, attempted to resuscitate him for a period of one hour and they were unsuccessful.
"Our family requests that the media please respect our privacy during this tough time. May Allah be with you Michael, always."

Michael will truly be missed, but what i want to know is .... where were all his "friends" in the last 15 years while his life was in turmoil. I bet most of them didnt bother to lift the phone to check in with him. Thank goodness he had his children to give him hope in a world of vultures. RIP MJ.
His friends were where all friends go when you are preceived to have lost things(away). But his mother and father and sibblings and children never left. Say what you want about him but he made EVERY little child of color in my neighborhood(G.I) think they too could be a STAR....

And get your facts straight. In muslim belief they believe that if you die for the sake of your religion (suicide bombers) than you get the 70 virgins. I'm pretty sure MJ doesn't meet those requirements.

I'm a muslim, and have extensive knowledge of the religion and I know for sure that being a suicide bomber does not ensure a place in heaven - quite the opposite. Suicide is regarded as a terrible terrible sin, and killing innocent people in the name of Islam is even worse.
The fact that Jermaine said Allah, shouldn't make people so hysteric. His family is grieving and they should be allowed. They just lost a family member.
I know, it will still be years of speculation and rumours and hate upon his life here but, noone can hurt you now Michael.

Please check your facts before posting, Pam. there are enough misconceptions about Islam as it is. suicide bombers are NOT guaranteed heaven-to even suggest this is ludicrous. Suicide is a sin, as is murder.
Have some tolerance. Please try to learn about other religions before calling their tenets disgusting. Much of the information on forums such as these is incorrect.

I wasn't calling the religion disgusting. I was replying to a previous post that was making fun of Micheal Jackson. I called that person disgusting for disrespecting the dead. And I KNOW that suicide bombers do not go to heaven and I KNOW that this is a misconception of the muslim belief. I never said it was written in the Quran and I never said it was true. I simply said that some people believe that (example: suicide bombers). I think instead of everyone being mean to me and bashing me you should be bashing the person who commented right before me because it's that person who was disrespecting the religion. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

There is ONLY one name under heaven that claimed to have Eternal LIfe to give to humanity and you won't find that claim within any religion..and that is the person of Jesus Christ..
"I am the way, the truth, and the Life...any man come to me I will give it freely..." paraphase at the end..the point is if you want to be spiritually alive you need to recieve it as a free gift and NO one..no religion, no man made God, no acts can give it......God Loves YOU!
