Jaclyn Smith Says Farrah Fawcett Is Now Resting With The Angels

Farrah Fawcett is now resting with the angels, says her former 'Charlie's Angels' co-star.
The 62-year-old actress lost her fight against anal cancer yesterday (25.06.09) and actress Jaclyn Smith believes Farrah is now being looked after in heaven.
"Farrah had courage, she had strength, and she had faith. And now she has peace as she rests with the real angels."
Kate Jackson - who appeared alongside Farrah and Jaclyn in the hit 70s TV show - says she will always remember how happy Farrah was despite the pain she suffered during the final stages of her life.
She said:
"When I think of Farrah I will remember her kindness, her cutting dry wit and, of course, her beautiful smile.
"Today when you think of Farrah remember her smiling, because that is exactly how she wanted to be remembered."
Playboy founder Hugh Hefner said Farrah - famed for her flicked out blonde hair and enviable figure - was the ultimate pin-up and was the "Marilyn Monroe" of the 70s.
He added:
"Men fell in love with her and women wanted to look like her. She had a magic that never went away. She became a part of the pop culture."
Family friend Tori Spelling - whose late father Aaron Spelling produced 'Charlie's Angels' - felt privileged to know Farrah.
She said:
"Farrah was an inspiration to all, and had the most amazing spirit. She was one of the kindest, sweetest and funniest women I've had the privilege of knowing, and I'm proud to have called her a friend. Her smile will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with her family."
Christina Applegate - who has survived breast cancer - also reacted to the news, posting on her Twitter page:
"Today please donate money to a great cancer organization for research. This damn disease has taken another. We must find a cure. Farrah RIP."
Other stars to pay tribute to Farrah included Demi Moore, Nicole Richie, Marie Osmond and William Shatner.

You are horrible!!1 Let her rest in peace. We all know she is dead. You don't have to state the obvious in such a nasty way. And she is better off in a place you will never get to.

Dude you are a JERK!---em's
Why oh why is it so much more important that Micheal is dead & not Farrah? She actually fought her battle head on & Micheal just had a heart attack. I know that is awful of me to say but I have seen so many damn headlines on him than I have on her. I loved Farrah Fawcett, she is truly an inspiration to us all & was a wonderful & kind hearted person.

I don´t think it has anything to do with it being more important. It has more to do with the fact that MJs death was unexpected whereas people knew that Farrah was battling with cancer for years and that it seemed like she is going to lose the fight. So MJs death is more shocking. RIP Farrah

Poor Farah looked so radiant when she was younger. All her older pics showed a woman battered and bruised from fighting cancer in addition to all her personal issues. May she rest in peace.
