Grandpa: Natalie, are you coming to my birthday party?

Natalie: I can't. I have a playdate at the park.

Grandpa: But I didn't even tell you when the party was.

Natalie: When is it?

Grandpa: Sunday

Natalie: That's the day I am busy.

(There was no scheduled playdate and the girl is 4)

I hope Grandpa's feelings weren't too hurt. That is funny tho. I remember when my aunt and uncle came to visit me and my kids had to give up their bedrooms for them to sleep in. My middle daughter asked my uncle when they were going to go home so she could have her room back. I was so embarrassed. She must have been about Natalie's age at the time.

I would've loved to hear that! My nephew is 14 months old, and my sister is starting to discipline him for things like throwing things on the floor, and playing with the vertical blinds, and there are so many times we have to turn our heads, or leave the room and laugh because of his faces and reactions! I love kids!
