Ugh! I would in no way get these fro my child. I only like excessive amounts of kids sequins in the dress up box.
What would you do if someone else bought them for your kid?

I don't think it is to far. I think kids can pull off shiny pants way better than an adult. If you paird it with a cute litte skirt, it would make an adorable outfitt!

i used to love anything sparkly and shiny when i was a kid. i would have loved these. i don't think it's too far. they aren't skin tight or revealing. just shiny and fun for little kids.

As far as I'm concerned all the children clothes are replicas of adult clothing. It's soo difficult to find cute little dresses for girls these days. When you do find one it cost an arm & a leg.

American Apparel is my favourite store EVERRRRR! Half of my wardrobe is like from there. Yes, I would buy these if i had a little girl! American Apparel leggings are sooo comfortable and fit so well. I don't get how or why this would be considered "going to far."

I shudder as I type this but.....they are sort of cute. My little girl could pull it off, I couldn't.

Leggings have always been staple in a kids wardrobe. What i'm not sure about is the shininess...My kid does look cute in anything though..lol

Well, I don't think my sister would approve, but my niece is the ultimate girly-girl and loves anything sparkly and shiny and girly - she would LOVE these! She could totally rock them, too - and she's 4!
I have a boy, so I can't foresee myself buying them for him, but if I had a girl I think they'd be fine ... especially on little girls - can't you picture a little girl wearing them with a tutu and fun shirt to the grocery store?

LOL
those are ugly and some hollywood star will put 'em on there kids..
then everyone will buy 'em...
With that loose fit as opposed to the "painted on look" that adults tend to strive for, I think is an appropriate way to dress your tot in metallic leggings.
