Shooting Transformers Was Exhausting For Shia LaBeouf
Shia LaBeouf found the long hours spent filming 'Transformers: Revenge of
the Fallen' exhausting.
The 22-year-old actor - who stars alongside Megan Fox in
the blockbuster - was forced to work 28-hour shifts to get the movie
finished on time.
He is quoted as saying:
"I don't even know how to describe that level of
exhaustion. When you become jaded and not bothered by a car flipping over
your head because you have been doing a 28-hour day, then you know you must
be tired."
Last week, movie director Michael Bay revealed he almost cancelled the movie
when Shia injured his hand in a car accident midway through filming.
He said:
"I actually read it on CNN online and was like, 'This can't be
true.' I called my line producer, Ian Bryce, and he said, 'It's true, let's
shut down,' and I said, 'We can't shut down!'
"When you've got a train going, it's so expensive to shut a picture like
this down. I was glad we had an action scene in the library, that day we
were shooting. I said, 'Let's just go for it. Let's just not stop. Let's use
his stuntman, and we'll try to cover as much stuff as we can.'
"We were very lucky because we had shot a lot of the beginning of the movie
and we were right at a turning point."
I finally got around to seeing this movie and loved it! Did anyone else get a chance yet? What did you think? I heard hot and cold reviews, but I quite enjoyed it.

I haven't had a chance to see it yet, but I can't wait. I loved Transformers when I was little and the 1st film was very good. I'm avoiding the reviews, but whenever I see a Michael Bay film I don't go in expecting the film to be amazing. He makes popcorn films- films to be enjoyed.
I think Shia LaBeouf is quite yummy- he's good looking!

We saw it opening day. LOVED it. Megan was right - it wasn't really a movie about acting - it was all about the action & special effects and we loved, loved it. There's something so magical about big, crazy special effects & action on the big screen. Awesomeness.

We saw the opening premier at midnight and my kids and I and my girlfriend and her daughter LOVED it! The special effects and fight scenes were amazing.

I haven't seen it yet, I probably will when it goes to the dollar theatre (if you dont know what that is - it's a theatre that gets movies after big movies are done with them, and then charges a lot less - love it!) I did see in some previews that it looked like they might've written his hand injury into the script - is that true?
Nicole yes they did work it into the movie. It was kinda funny if you knew he had the hand injury, at least it was funny to me.

Listen, I love Shia, I cried in the first movie when Optimus showed up, I own the first movie and my husband and I watch it every once in a while just for kicks...but the second one is so ridiculous and disappointing that I hated everybody included in the film for selling a lame story filled with action scenes. I'm sorry, but I HATED it.

Haha! You sound like me with the first one! And I did the same thing with the new version of Superman... when he busted out with his suit... weep! I'm way too nostalgic for my own good.
I'm gonna have to wait for the dvd for this one, just like the first. I know they are "big screen" movies but I have a 9-year-old that isn't going to see them, and I don't want to waste my child-free movie/date night on this.

Hey Vera! First off, gotta say how much I love your site! Secondly, I did see the movie and as a matter of fact, my husband is one of the extras in the movie since part of it was filmed here in New Mexico. He was in a total of 5 scenes that made the cut. Needless to say, our whole family was very excited; especially are two sons to see their dad on the big screen! My husband said that both Shia and Josh Duhamel were very down to earth, very approachable and were so willing to take pictures with my husband and the other extras. As for Megan and Tyrese, he said they were so rude and into them selfs and didn't want anything to do with anyone, let alone the extras. They kept to themselves the entire time.

I thought they were creative... he gets banged up and "cuts" his hand or something cause I noticed he had his hand wrapped up in the later scenes of the movie. I thought it was a good movie. The other girl is so much hotter than Megan and the poor thing barely gets any attention. I bet shes a lot nicer too haha

LOVED TRANSFORMERS!!!!!!! the movie is full of action and cant understand why Megan got lots of bad press by saying the movie was all about action and less about action.... most of us agree!. Josh Duhamel made similar comment and nobody cared.

I don't think I can stomach this movie. I hate the "actors" and with that on my mind I will not be able to enjoy it. Too bad...the first one I liked.
