Who Do You Think Should Be The Next Green Lantern?
Bradley Cooper, Justin Timberlake, and Ryan Reynolds are supposed to be the final three actors being considered for the role of Hal Jordan (a.k.a. the Green Lantern). I realize many of you may not be a big fan of the Green Lantern comics, but you have to admit, no matter who Warner Brothers choses, the Green Lantern will be cute!

favorite among the three finalists, making it difficult to come to
a consensus."
Bradley, Justin, and Ryan (I'm typing their names in alphabetical order, not playing favorites ;)
have each been through two rounds of screen tests. They must be on pins and needles!
Who would you choose for the role?
And are you a Green Lantern fan or would you be willing to sit through it for the sake of your husband/boyfriend?

i hope it's justin cause i hear cameron diaz is in talks for the female part....i'm not sure what character cause i've never even heard of this comic. if they work together, imagine the drama w/ jessica. could make for good gossip. not to wish for any other couple to have hardships, just not sure i care for jessica that much. i know, i don't know her personally, i just feel that way.
my bad....cameron is being considered for the green hornet movie, not green lantern. oh well. i spoke too soon. well, in that case, i vote cooper. ryan already has his own superhero movie, and justin is not that great of an actor.

I have an 11 year old son who is big into comics and super hero movies so I am in touch with this world whether I like it or not. I would have to pick either Bradley or Ryan, although Ryan was Deadpool in the new Wolverine movie so I am not sure true fans of Wolverine want to see him take on another/different comic character role. I think that is considered poison in the Comic world. They like their characters to stay the same thru out the series. I think Ryan was excellent as Deadpool in Wolverine and should stick with that character as the X-MEN series continues. So, I guess Bradley. I can't really see Justin as the Green Lantern, but if you told me a few years ago that Robert Downey Jr. was going to play Iron Man, I would have laughed, but I can't imagine Tony Stark being played by anyone else! Okay, I am NOT obsessed. LOL!

Agree!! In my opinion the best director would be "Guillermo Del Torro". If you have not seen "Pan's Labyrinth" and "The Devil's Backbone" his movies are incredible. They are in Spanish with English subtitles, he also directed Hellboy. His vision and style would make "Faust" worth every minute. Of course, Holly weird will f*uck it up and give directing rights to M. Night; after the "Sixth Sense" is all been down hill.

I don't get all the sudden hype with this bradley fellow, and I also think justin should stick to music.
So out of the 3 my vote would be for Ryan.
Also when is justice league coming out. I miss seeing adam brody on my tv.

Naughty Naughty :))) ok, here are my reasons to pick him without seeing the screen test 1:He has 2 back to back hit movies 2: he is officially A-List now 3: Can act 4: Very very Handsome 5: Men love him 5: LADIES LOVE HIM for sure. I will wait for my boyfriend to take me to the movie with his mates ...I can just drool in the corner and then watch it again with my girl friends and drool some more. Dont get me wrong JT is hot but he is a bad actor sad to say...Ryan Reynolds is already an X Men so he is OUT. So, there is no one else but eye fucker Brad Cooper. ...he was hot back in Alias. I am sooo surprised it to this long for HW to notice what we already knew...that he is HOT HOT HOT

Neither of them should get the part. I think and up and coming black actor should get it, SEEING AS HOW IN THE COMIC BOOK SERIES THE GREEN LANTERN IS BLACK. Hollywood is sooo stupid sometimes.

THANK YOU FOR THAT ONE! They don't like making black men superheroes in Hollywood, they rather them be homeless men , drug dealers, pimps, ballers,bad cops , criminals ; REAL NEGATIVE ROLLS. I see Boris Kojeo ( new actor), this boy has a smile that can melt ice, or possibly.......Sad, i can't think of any others that haven't done tooooo much that you wouldn't be sick of seeing them , like WILL SMITH, good lord . he is not that great of an actor. the movies he's in now are telling on him. the movies are too big for him to manage the rolls to make the characters believable. someone new please, and hot(possibly). Hollywood is too color focused. The really good rolls go to people who really have done too much or can't act to say their life, but because they are in the media, day and night, they are deemed the STAR! NEW STARS PLEASE!

I'll take any chance I get to watch Ryan Reynolds, but I think this movie is gonna suck, since the main character does.
I vote for Ryan. Justin is a douche and there is something smarmy about Bradley.
Not too long ago there was a fan-made trailer that actually had Nathan Fillion in as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, using clips from various movies as well as a few of Nathan's TV shows. While I absolutely adore Ryan Reynolds, and JT is growing on me, I'd love to see Nathan in this role.

I'm not a Green Lantern fan at all...I just don't know much about it. But if we're talking superheroes. Timberlake really does not have the bod. I'd say Ryan Reynolds and then...the cutie pie that played the psycho in Wedding Crashers.
