I had the pleasure of not only seeing a preview of Jones New York's Holiday and Fall collections, but of also meeting the charming (and super handsome) Lloyd Boston, their Style Guy and host of FLN's Closet Cases. If you're a JNY lady, that is, if you understand trends and now how to make them work for you but also values looking appropriate at all times, you're going to love the colors and outfits for these collections.

With classic tanks, simple dresses and clean silhouettes, you can look elegant going to work, hosting and attending holiday parties and transitioning into Spring. JNY offers ridiculously comfy cashmere pieces, like tees, tanks and sweaters, that are reasonably priced between $90 and $200. They're also huge fans of the chunky knits, which will still be a hit this Fall. Fun animal prints can add some pizazz to a basic work outfit that you can take into after-work dinner and drinks with friends.

The color schemes of some of the collections really stood out. Rich jewel tones were offered in simple sweaters and the hugely popular belted cardigan, as well as clean-cut dresses.

JNY.com features their style guru, Lloyd Boston, in monthly Style Miles videos that show you how to work 5 staples, like the black pant, white shirt etc, with 5 new trendy items to make 25 outfits. He does all the hard work by talking you through the pairings. I was so excited to talk with him! He loves JNY because of their classic style, quality and affordability. I asked him what his favorite piece from the Holiday collections was and he chose a white tuxedo jacket. When he suggested I try it on, I thought, "Uh ok....not my style but I'm not about to refuse fashion advice from Lloyd Boston!" It was at least two sizes larger than what I wear but he cuffed the sleeves, told me to throw on my sunglasses and voila! Instant fab! Oh, I should mention that I was originally wearing a black tee, skinny jeans and black pumps. He was sooo on point, though. The white popped against the black and gave a breezy but sophisticated air to my get-up. And the over-sized look was perfect since it translated to a boyfriend-ish fit. I think I became an insta-fan at that moment!

JNY's Fall collection, coming to stores in August-ish, features the beautiful Liya Kebede in the campaign. Their Holiday collections start to hit stores around November, just in time for your holiday shopping. Check out Lloyd Boston at jny.com and on FLN's Closet Cases.

In addition to Closet Cases, he has also partnered with Jones New York to host an online video series called, JNY Style Miles. On each episode, he helps women make the most of their closets, by working with what they already have in their wardrobe, and incorporating a few key Jones New York pieces.
