Kendra Wilkinson Prefers Food To The Stripper Pole

Kendra Wilkinson Prefers Food To The Stripper Pole

It sounds like things are going pretty well for Kendra Wilkinson: she just got married, she's expecting her first baby on Christmas day, and her reality TV show 'Kendra' on E! just got renewed for a second season.

Yet, after the stamp debacle, I read some of Kendra's statements to E!'s Marc Malkin with concern: does she really believe everything she says?

"I'm concentrating more on what's healthy for the baby more than my weight gain... I know my weight gain will go away very fast, so if I gain weight and
that's what it takes to make my baby healthy, that's what has to
happen."

It's great that Kendra's first priority is her baby's health, but, um, thinking the weight gain will go away very fast? That doesn't always happen ;)  Although, to be fair, a lot of first-time moms think that, and for some lucky women, it is easy!

While Kendra's giving in to her food cravings (currently Japanese food, but not raw fish), she is giving up her stripper pole: for the time being.

"The stripper pole's coming down now because of the baby," she said
with a laugh. "Not forever, but for a while. It will be hung up in the
closet."

Kendra's even getting herself used to the idea of childbirth.

"I thought I was scared," she said. "But I know the moment's
going to come where I'm like, 'Oh my god. It was so worth it.' It's
only a little bit of pain for a lifetime of happiness."

"Only a little bit of pain"? I'm not so sure about that (at least, before they give you the pain medication), but Kendra's right that  it's so worth it!

What do you think of Kendra's expectations?

I'm glad for her, being her first baby; but she is tiring. You are having a baby Kendra, animals can perform the same feat; and you’re not the first or last. Shut up already!

LOL- I'm sooo sick of hearing about her pregnancy!

I'm happy for her. I'm pregnant with my first baby due a month after her. To say being pregnant for the first time is unbelievable and unpredictable is an understatement. It must be even harder being under scrutiny all the time.

She doesn't think there will be a lot of pain and thinks she can lose weight fast because it's her first baby - give her a break. I think she's just taking it one day at a time and just enjoying life right now. She's got a lot going for her. Did they ever find out the sex of the baby?

She will have access to personal trainers and (more than likely) a personal chef so yeah she probably will lose her weight fast just like all the other hollywood moms.

Her being her age, she can lose the weight quickly, I did when I had my first. Also, with epidurals and such, not so painful anymore either.

YEA, im sure 15 years from now her kid is going to look back at all the interviews she giving about her pregnancy, like... putting away the stripper pole. Nice. Plus, what does she have to be afraid of, shes just going to do what most celeb moms do and induce a c section so her vag doesnt become a bigger black hole then it already is

She is not going to lose the weight fast because of personal trainers and special diet... it's because she is so fit that it will come off easily. She has an AMAZING body because she works so hard for it. =^_^=

She's just so stupid. "Ditsy" is definetly not the word for it, & it's certainly not cute at all. She's just an uneducated twit that whored herself out for fame. Disgusting.

this is why i will never have children.
i will pay for someone to have them for me.

Yes, how cute and adorable. She was an old pervert's "girlfriend", posed nude for his magazine, cusses like a sailor on her show and is generally trashy. I agree with you, Layla, she is not "cute" at all but a slap in the face of all women who have made something of themselves with their clothes on.

For the record, I am not jealous, ugly, a feminist or a conservative nutjob. I just know class when I see it, and I am not seeing it here.

Nothing wrong with being a playboy girl. Each to their own. No need to slag someone off just because you don't agree with her career choice.

Okay, I can't stand her and we really don't need minute-by-minute updates on her pregnancy, but what she's saying isn't out of the realm of possibility. I lost all of my weight (and then some) when my son was born, and I didn't even have a personal trainer like she will.

And the pain of labor isn't that bad -- even without meds! gasp! yes, it's possible! -- and you certainly get over it within a few days. It's not like I look at my son nine years later and think, "Oh, having you was so excruciating!"
