Fact Or Fiction: Is Gwyneth Paltrow A Little Too Friendly With Ex Ben Affleck?
According to Fox 411, "friends" are saying that Gwyneth Paltrow is a little too friendly with ex-boyfriend Ben Affleck for wife Jennifer Garner's taste. One of Gwyneth's notes reportedly rubbed Jennifer the wrong way.
"Ben and Jen got one of Gwyneth’s famous notes this year just after Seraphina was born," says the insider. "It was very nice, but it was a little too personal. Gwyneth made sure to mention how she was happy that Ben was finally creating the family he had always wanted, a family, which the two of them discussed in depth when they were dating. It just rubs Jen the wrong way."
It apparently doesn't help matters that Gwyneth enrolled her two children, Apple and Moses, in the same preschool that Violet attends.
"Luckily, Gwyneth and Chris are barely in California three months out of the year, so Jen should not have to run into her too often at school," says the insider. "The other moms already have a problem with the paparazzi following the Garner-Afflecks, and Gwyneth Paltrow will only make the situation worse."
Does it sound like Gwyneth is overly friendly from this?

US magazine had a mention about Jen disliking the fact that Gwyneth's kids were in the same school as her kids -- and I think Ben's mum invited Gwynie's kids over after a birthday party or something. If this is true, then it's an obvious attempt on Gwyneth's part in trying to be a trouble maker. Isn't she happy or secure enough in her marriage to Chris Martin without trying to do these catty and meanspirited little gestures?
It would piss me off too and I'm not the overly jealous type. Sounds like Gwyneth is being a ball buster.
If I was Jennifer or Ben I'd write back:

Thanks for your note. Yes, Ben (Jenn) and I are deliriously happy over the birth of our second child. Especially since I (Ben) knew I(he) never wanted not even ONE with you. At least now I (he) is happily married and doesn't have to do the alternate visitation visit thing as a result of a divorce.

#1 I seriously doubt that Jen's "jealous" of Gwyneth, but it makes for good headlines. BUT, in the off chance that it is true, #2 Hasn't Gwyneth ever seen Alias? Doesn't she know that Jen could kick her a$$? It may have been a while, but I'm sure she still has a few moves left in her. lol

I do think there is some truth to this, Ben took Violet to the birthday party Gwyneth had for her son, a party Jennifer did not attend. It must be hard for Jennifer her husband takes their daughter to the party of an ex girlfriends son and to this day he is still talks about his ex-fiancee.
Yeah, because it's not like Jen could be working or otherwise have a scheduling conflict, be tired because of a small baby who might not sleep well or often, or that the baby might not have been feeling well.
Gywneth probably only invited Ben and Violet to the party because she doesn't like jennifer.
