I don't get the appeal. I read the books and I thought they were pretty unoriginal and not very well written. I guess I can see how a teenage girl would like it, but I would hope that a grown woman wouldn't want to be talked to like Edward talks to Bella. And yes, I understand the thrill of something forbidden, but come on...
I agree I feel like the books were verbose and way too long.
The books were like print outs of blogs by melodramatic teenaged girls, which I suppose is fine if you're in the target age group. I don't understand how grown women are getting swept up in this.

The books aren't great, but okay for some light reading. The whole reason New Moon was my favorite of the series was it's whole lack of Edward. After the Cheesefest that was the first Twilight movie, I can't say I'll be stopping in to see New Moon.
I wouldn't be able to wait to see it on DVD i mean its like 5 months maybe more after the movie has come out and i mean its just too far.
I really hope when i go and see it there won't be screaming fans... but i mean that is going to be inevitable isn't it... =[

I understand some peoples opinion on the twilight saga books and movies, i mean i've alway said it is for some people but it isnt for everyone, and Nanea i don't think the books are badly written, i mean its your opinion but even the author said that she doesn't think she is the best writer but she does improve throughout the series.
I juse love the books and i love the movies now too... omg eclipse is starting in 2 weeks HOW EXCITING!! Can't wait for New Moon and now i can't wait for the eclipse hype to begin!!!

Completely agree with those that believe the books and movies are rather . . . "unorignial" and poorly written. I think Meyer just had a good publicists. :shrug:
As for the movie, perhaps, at most a rental. Only because Taylor Lautner. You know I'll never go to theatres to see it. The screaming hoardes of Twighlt fans would be too much and I wouldn't be able to keep myself from laughing throughout :)

i saw twillight in an asian cinema b/c i was bored, my feet hurt from shopping and i needed a place to sit and being somehow entertained.
you could hear giggles, sighs, taking deep breaths, "aaaaw"s& "aaah"s throughou the movie XD
I cant wait for movie.. First I love Twilight movie, after movie I found out for books , bougth them and I havent regret!

I am a mother with a young daughter. We both read all four books and have Twilight on DVD (watched numerous times). As avid readers we both found the books fantastic especially Twilight, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Cant wait to see New Moon.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions about the books and movies
...in my opinion however i absolutely ? LOVE ? them all . Seeing these sneak peaks just builds the anticipation up until November 20th. Hopefully us fans wont be going too crazy :p ! I cannot wait until its in theaters!
