Gwyneth Paltrow Teaches You How To Make Roast Chicken And Potatoes

She calls Roast Chicken and Potatoes "fast food"... I call it Christmas.

WOW! Check out Gwyneth Paltrow de-boning, marinating and roasting a chicken making it look oh so easy.

Loving that kitchen.

Because she is working, Gwyneth says she is really focusing on making quick meals these days - something she can just throw in the oven or boil like pasta.

A quick meal for me is peanut butter and jelly and a handful of grapes - but that's why Gwyneth has Goop.com and I'm just writing about it. :)

What do you think of the actress trying to promote lifestyle tips? She's really keeping with this venture isn't she?

Nigella Lawson is doing stuff like this too and no one hates her, so it's really Gwen and her personality that tic's people off. I think.

lol no one hate nigella lawson. watching nigella cook something is truely an experience to forget - she spends most of her time trying to sex the camera and shoves her boobs into every camera shot.

At first I thought the same thing like oh, great NOW she's a cook. But then I saw that show with her and Mario Batali traveling around spain and italy and I realized what a FOODIE she is. So now I can appreciate her sharing (not teaching) some recipes that she likes.

there is a big difference between just putting something in the oven and pasta. I get home from work around 6pm every day, so pasta can be ready by 7 reasonably, often 6.30ish. Roast chicken - well, I better eat something before that.

Uhhh, for a woman concerned about health and wellness, she has no problem with cross contamination. Even the most basic cook knows to wash their hands and utensils, cutting boards, etc after touching raw chicken. Oh Gwen, you're not even half as smart as you think you are.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Perhaps if she reads a bit about salmonella! but I guess she is busy busy Gooping.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

lol i know right! that whole kitchen is contaminated. after touching the chicken - wipes her hands on the teatowel - then later wipes her mouth on the teatowel. good hygiene.
thats how she keeps her figure - a constant bout of food poisoning should do the trick.

She's so pretentious!

Oh my god people. She is happy, and doing what she loves. Get a grip, she's just offering tips.

HAHA I thought the same thing about cross contamination ! When I saw her put the chicken in the pan and then reach for the pepper mill I cringed ! That being said I thought she wasn't her usual annoying self. I quite enjoyed the clip. Even MK ( dlisted ) said she didnt make him poke his eyes out so if he can sit thru it Im sure anyone can lol

As much as I don't like her and her stuck-up ways, she really seems to be into cooking right now. I wonder whatever happened to her macrobiotic diet that made on-set caterers roll their eyes.

I remember her mentioning in a few interviews that she gave up the macrobiotic diet when she became pregnant, and after having babies to feed found it not reasonable.

Wow, bitter much? I don't understand why everyone hates on Gwyneth. If you don't like her, don't subscribe to her newsletter. She's not making anyone read it.

If you actually watch the video, it really does give you some good tips, like deboning the roasting chicken to make it cook fast. I went on her goop website (never been on there before) and there are some really great recipes! I don't necessarily like or dislike Gwyneth, but I'll take and use the recipes she has to offer.

Cause she's just to good to be true. We are envy - she has it all. Expensive knives, beeeaaautiful radishes, T-shirt and tiles in matching colours, a house in southern california and one in London, a rock'n roll husband AND she can cook. Well, chicken at least.

I don't like her particularly, but the recipe sounds yummy, fast and healthy. This is what I like to cook, because it doesn't seem particularly difficult. Instead of envying her, people should start cooking more like the way she does and eliminate all this processed crap they put into their mouths. By the way, it seems the clip is edited, so I don't think she forgot to wash her hands before/after handling the chicken. I just think it's just cut out...MMMMM champagne vinegar... getting hungry now...
