Ikea 2010 Catalog Kick Off

Ikea 2010 Catalog Kick Off

In a showroom in New York City on Tuesday, Ikea held a press event to display their 2010 collection with new lower prices on all varieties of furniture and accessories. Ikea has always been known for their affordability, but now they are offering even lower prices with higher quality.
With cozy couches that start at just $199, the prices are unbeatable at Ikea. Even during a recession, you won’t break your bank by redecorating your home. Many of the couches at Ikea offer a wide variety of fabric covers with different prints and colors. If you’re not sure what colors you’re looking for in your home, or if you like to mix it up, the option of having a palette colors on your couch never grows tiresome. Just like changing your outfit, you can easily swap covers and redecorate your home in a matter of minutes. This simple and affordable new way to keep the living room alive is a Feng Shui dream.

Ikea is showing a lot of chestnut wood colors in their furniture for the Autumn, and a black-grey color for the Winter. Although a lot of the furniture has a contemporary feel, one addition of this season’s catalog features a bedroom set with a turn-of-the-century French design that is vintage chic meets modern practicality. At an affordable price, you can decorate your room in an antique fashion without skimming on quality.

In case building a wardrobe closet is not your idea of a fun weekend, Ikea has a staff of specialists available to help put together your new furniture. Delivery is also available.

I was just at Ikea yesterday, love to see their new stuff. I can't wait to have a real reason to shop for furniture there.

My kid loves their life like stuffed animals. She fell in love with a ferrit from there. Some of their furniture can be real cheap but, every once in awhile I find some pretty awesome stuff for a great price.

I like some of their accessories, e.g. kitchen stuff. The furniture? Not so much.

I had tables like the ones in the top picture when I was a kid. They weren't from IKEA, but were $5 apiece.
