Nigella Lawson Spent Over $3000 For 12 Identical Dresses

Nigella Lawson has spent over $3,300 on 12 identical dresses.
The TV chef reportedly splashed out on the 1950s-style 'Bombshell' gowns by designer Katya Wildman as the nipped-in waists and sweetheart-shaped bust lines flatter her hourglass figure.
Nigella recently won praise for her style and was voted the female celebrity with the most sought-after figure.
Britain's Daily Mail newspaper's fashion editor Natalie Theo said:
"Nigella Lawson knows how to maximize her Rubinesque assets with the style of clothes that she chooses.
"Her dresses nip in at the waist and pucker her out at the bust. It's no secret that she is a huge fan of Vivienne Westwood's corset dresses, which maximize her tiny waist and show off her full cleavage and great shoulders."Her wisely-chosen classic day staples of little fitted cardigans and knit tops with figure-hugging jersey only serve to accentuate her hourglass figure further. It's all very Marilyn Monroe, Jessica Rabbit and old Hollywood glamour."
The 50s look is very popular at the moment and other stars to wear the style include Scarlett Johansson, Victoria Beckham and Rachel Weisz.

12 dresses for $3000 in hollywood is a bargain! ha ha.....if I do see a style or cut that I really, really like, I will buy 2 or 3 of them, in different colors if they are available. ***annie***

I certainly buy multiple pieces in different colors when I find a flattering style...however, I've never bought 12 OR spent over $3,000. I've never spent that much money on ANYTHING. If I won the lottery, I would, however, reconsider that....
I do tend to buy duplicates of things I find that fit me well, but never at that price level.

If I like something very much, and it fits like it was made for me, I buy identical clothes in different colors, but not for that kind of money. I mean, $ 275 for a good dress is not much, but I wouldn't need a dozen identical ones.
