Jessica Alba was famously dressed in neutrals as she met up with some friends at Taverna Tony restaurant in Los Angeles. Greys, whites, blacks and browns... if I could I would steal them all.
I love the braid Jessica has in her hair but I am completely unable to do it on my own hair. Believe me! I've tried. Anyone have any tips they want to share? Something visual would be better - like a YouTube video! LOL - I'm totally serious.

You probably CAN find a vid on youtube. You could try a twist instead, i've been doing that (literally twisting two pieces of hair together) because I can't do the french braids either
vera- if you know how to do a french braid its quite simple... when you get out of the shower or wehnever your hair is wet (its easier wet) do a french braid but twist as you go along your head; also you have to take hair from both sides of the head to keep it in place. my daughter- who is still figuring out for herself, lays on her side and looks into a mirror while doing it. she says its easier for newbies.... hope this helps. i love that style- especially if you have bangs, like me, its perfect for workouts!

Vera- you can youtube.. how to french braid and it will show you one in the front... thats how I learnt!
Part your hair to the SIDE. I find it easier to part it to the side you normally would not feel compfortable braiding. That tends to work for me. Also- don't braid your hair just after washing....the day after works much better.

she has some great hair tutorials up, and the latest one is similar to this picture. scrounge up some of her old videos, and they could also help with different types of braiding or some new great hair styles.

To be honest I like her better nowadays, she's one of the cutest hollywood moms and always looks so well put together. French braids = lots of hair clips to help hold up your braids.

LOVE her hair. I am great at french braiding my own hair but I don't know if I could pull this off very well, my hands would get pretty dang tired. I'm certainly going to try soon! If I can figure it out I'll get a video of how I did it to you Vera.

I love her hair too!! I can't seem to get it to work either Vera, so don't feel bad! :)
I find that it looks better if I only add hair from the hairline side as I braid. It still says in place, but the braid won't get as big as if you were adding hair on both sides. Also before I start I use a comb to section off the hair I want included in the briad and put the rest in a ponytail so it's not in the way.

I love her style. However, i'd probably wear a coloured purse with this outfit. I don't like her with blonde hair. She probably has a stylist do that braid.
