Brad Pitt Takes His Older Sons To The Green Day Concert

Brad Pitt Takes His Older Sons To The Green Day Concert

Brad Pitt took sons Maddox and Pax to the Green Day Concert in New Orleans. Things were so laid back Brad even chatted with other concertgoers who were sitting nearby. One of them talked to Life and Style about his Brad Pitt encounter.

"Brad was so nice. He chatted with those of us who were sitting
close to him and his sons before the show started. He'd gotten the
boys, Maddox and Pax, some pictures
and things of the band, and they were very excited. He mentioned that
this was a birthday gift for Maddox, that he was a huge Green Day fan."

"Both boys had [hearing-protective] headphones but kept pulling them
off, and Brad would tap them on the head, and they'd slide them back
on," Charlie says. At one point, Charlie adds, Maddox took his off and
hung them around his shoulders and Brad tapped him and mouthed "Your
mother will kill me," and Mad laughed at him and put them back on."

LOL! Maddox and Pax sound like typical kids and Brad sounds like a typical dad :) What a great birthday gift for Maddox.

Sorry, but a Green Day concert is not appropriate for small boys. Brad's an idiot.

i've been to many green day concerts and it's soo not a great place for kids. many people come drunk or high to them and they serve beer so people just get drunker. there's people smoking pot all over the place. there's always a mosh pit. a lot of green day songs have cussing in them or unappropriate themes for children. billy joe really lets loose in between the songs and it's all "f this. and f that. and f these people". i'm a huge green day fan so i'm not hating on them in any way, but there's no way i would voluntarily take two children under the age of 10 to one of their concerts.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Swear words are not evil, and I was at a Green Day concert on the 11th and absolutely no moshing occurs. What song do you think people would be able to mosh to? And even if there was moshing, the kids are not involved. Same with alcohol and weed. They might get second-hand high if for some reason quite a few people were smoking around them, but marijuana is not harmful to the body in any way except a small impact to the lungs (which is virtually null in second-hand).

Don't pretend you've gone to a concert you haven't just to express your disdain for problems you don't understand.

By the time these kids are teenagers, there will be nothing left for them to do or see and they will be so jaded.

The concert it was very long. Until very late in the night. The boys were very tired.

You can not be serious!!!? It's a school night. How would you know how "tired" the kids were? This is a perfectly normal thing for kids to do, IMO.

i've been to a lot of rock concerts and RARELY do i see any small kids at them. i know many people with small kids and the LAST thing they'd do is take them to a rock concert. Little kids don't need to be at a loud concert with people smoking pot and drinking around them (and i have nothing against either). it's not age appropriate.

To be honest, I don't consider Green Day a band for adults. Most of the adults in my office take their children to Green Day concerts. What goes on in one of their particular concerts I can't say, because I've never attended one as I find their music...flaky...even childish.

i do too. i have been to so many shows and rock festivals, and it is not a place for kids under 10. it smells like weed everywhere you go. people are drunk, high, etc. yes, green day has become slightly less vulgar in general over the years. but only SLIGHTLY. not appropriate.

My dad used to say that all the time when he let us stay up a little past our bedtime, or treated us to ice cream an hour before dinner. It was his way of telling us not to let her know we were doing something she wouldn't approve of, being the main disciplinarian. My dad worked a lot of shift work and there were weeks when we only got to see him on weekends. My mom was left running the house and us five older kids, so she was the one making the rules we were to follow.

Clearly most people who are posting have never been to a concert. There is drinking and smoking at all genres of music. Country music is supposed be family friendly but there was more smoking and drinking at a Kenny Chesney concert than at a Katy Perry concert. Also 6 and 8 year olds are not toddlers they are kids. Toddlers are under 3 maybe 4 years. Also the fake concern is dumb. Brad could take them to see Sesame Street and the haters and Jenfans would find something to criticize.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Agree with Linda123: the guy cannot win! I think he is great dad. When you have so many kids it's better to spend as mucch as time with them as possible as long it's appropriate and it's no like he went to slipnot or marylin manson concert it's green day

Anonymous Anonymous said:

That is so cute. They are lucky to have parents like Brad and Angie. We have seen Reece kids even with no ear protection in concerts, Gwenth and gwen kids also. It is different when it come to Brad and Angie kids nothing new.
