Ashley Greene Will Sue If Anyone Posts Nude Pictures

Ashley Greene is the most recent actress to have been involved in a naked picture scandal. Her lawyer is threatening to sue anyone who puts up the pictures online...and he's not denying their existence.
"The photos in question, which appear to be of our client, are illegal
and are being unlawfully displayed," Greene's lawyer says in a
statement. "Our client intends to take legal action."
'Twilight,' has such a young fan base. Do you think this could potentially hurt the next movie's success? Or will Ashley and the franchise machine keep on rolling with no major bumps in the road?

Nude photos won't make a dent in the Twilight success. And I'm not saying that like a diehard fan...like saying "nothing will get in the way of Twilight--TWILIGHT IS L33t!" I'm not a Twilight fan at all...I'm just sayin' it is so popular that something like nude pictures of an actress in the movies aren't going to make any impact. People aren't going to go just because they saw her naked. Just like High School Musical Three wasn't affected to a noticeable degree by Vanessa's nude pictures. I'm back and I'm clad in plaid :)
Maybe if she didn't have nude pictures taken, she wouldn't have to worry about them showing up on the internet.
Here is a crazy idea, how about not taking naked pictures of yourself? stupid bimbos.
Why are people such prudes about the human body? Who cares if she took nude photos? My problem is with whomever leaked them. I'd say the same thing if it was some other celebrity trying to keep people from posting their private collection of baby photos. People shouldn't distribute things without permission of the subjects.

Are the photos copyrighted or something? Who does she think she's going to sue? I guess it all depends on who took the photos and whose possesion they are in. If she took the photos herself and then gave them to someone and that person posted them well she's SOL. Ahh, she's pretty much SOL anyway. Keep your clothes on next time.
No, sadly, it won't hurt the movie. In fact, you'll probably see even more teeny-boppers taking naked pictures of themselves.

WHY does EVERY celeb have nude pics of themselves? They are so narcississtic. I don't have a single nude pic of myself, or any pics that I have taken of myself by myself posing like an idiot in the mirror or whatever. Do other people do this? Or is it just me who is the odd ball who doesn't take the naked pics and self pics of myself thinking im all cute and sexy?

Okay, you've stretched it there a bit. Not every celebrity has nude pics of themselves. Where do you get that idea from? Of course, because someone like Ashlee Greene is a celebrity, and there are some other celebrities whom have been reported of having naked pics of themselves like Vanessa Hudgens, then might make someone think every celeb has nude pictures of themselves due to the fact of being in the spotlight. And also, not every celebrity is narcississtic. Where's you get that idea from too? Trust me you don't have to be a celebrity to be narcississtic. Of course, don't have to be one to take naked pics of yourselves. It's so dumb to take nude pics of yourself. I don't know why one would do that.

It's not going to hurt it at all. If anything, it takes a tiny bit of spotlight off of Kristen & Rob for a day or two. LOL And really, think about the pics of Kristen smoking pot on her front porch! If anything is going to be a "bad influence" for young girls - that would've been it. Not some naked pictures. ;)

I think all celebrity agents should include 'golden rules' about no nude pictures and sex videos. ESPECIALLY if you are involved in family movies like HSM stars!

Really a golden rule like that might be needed because if you are someone who has taken or likes to take - and how stupid- naked pictures of themselves or has done sex videos then that is a rule that will come in handy. It's so ridiculous that there are these people who have taken naked pics of themselves and/or sex videos. So disgusting and dumb.
Does anyone really believe that these girls don't know that their pictures will end up on the internet? Honestly, I think it is all for publicity - they can pretend to be outraged that someone would take advantage of their "private" pictures while getting tons of exposure and publicity. I think it is almost a prerequisite for "starlets" these days. And you are all right - it will definitely influence more young girls to do the same thing. It is pretty sick and sad and clearly a result of our celeb obsessed culture.

Well not everyone here has said that it will influence young girls. I don't think they will. I doubt anyone has asked for these damn nude pics and/or sex videos from those who just happen to be famous. Not every celebrity has one or the other or both... thank God. They are probably those girls who do pretend about being outraged for the release of these pics. Nevertheless the fact that some have these obscene items doesn't send a good message.
honestly, i can think of a scenario in which you really dont think they'll ever end up on the internet. so she made a mistake. are we forgetting that she is still very young? granted, if my daughters did it, id be more than unhappy, but it happened and i feel sorry for her. not only is she publicly embarrassed but she has also been betrayed by someone who was obviously close at one point. nobody said celebrities cant have a private life and evidently when she took those pics she thought they would stay part of it.
I agree. I feel bad for the girl. These photos seem to be a personal thing that someone got access to illegally. She clearly doesn't want anyone looking at them (and beyond that for those who are calling her terrible names, a mistake like this does not make someone a "skank." Geez. Sexism much??)

They will continue to ROLL IN THE MONEY... but seriously?! WTF is wrong with these girls. If I ever find FULLY nude pics of my daughter (whenever I have a daughter) on her phone, that will be the END OF HER CELL PHONE until she buys her own! I mean... this is ridiculous. I saw Ashley's pics last night - clear as day - buck naked. You should be SO proud, skank.

She's basically a hero for taking naked pictures of herself, and whoever put them on the internet is no less a hero for doing that. God Bless America for everything that happens in our fine nation. Ashley Greene, we salute you!

Actually, I know several women that take nude pictures of themselves for many reasons. Some get it professionally done because they achieved a certain goal in their life (physically etc.) and want to celebrate their success and it hangs in their private room or office. And they look quite lovely. Others take the photos for artistic reasons. Some can't afford to pay models to do nudes (like in an art class) so they take pictures of themselves in positions so they can draw or paint from the picture.
As for these little startlets and their nude pictures, eh. Who gives a damn? They'll eventually fade into obscurity.
