Pantene And Hallie Bowman Offer Up Quick Hair Styling Tips

Yesterday afternoon, I attended a blogger's event with Pantene. They brought in celebrity hair stylist Hallie Bowman to show us how to get high end looks without breaking the bank.

I have SO MUCH to write about from this one hour event and need to split it out over several days.

Today, I wanted to share one of Hallie's quick tips that are SUPER FAB and easy to do.

  • Take a U shaped hair clip and wrap your hair in and out of the two prongs like a figure 8. (see above picture)
  • Take your flat iron and press down on the hair for about 5 seconds.
  • Release

This is the result! You can have amazing hair in 10 minutes.

That's so cute! I want to use the technique but, don't know where I've ever seen a U shaped hair clip? I guess I could just use anything U shaped.

I'm curious about the U shaped clip, too. That is super cute and looks rather easy.

I think it's just a bigger version of a bobby pin.

An easier way to do this is to buy a triple barrel iron. Its like a huge crimper but you get huge waves like that.

The U shaped clip is actually called a 'hair pin'. They have bags/boxes full at Wal*Mart, Targer, Walgreens, Sally's, Ed Wyse, CosmoProf and any other hair supply store.
