Lost 2 Pounds - Damn Those Waffles!

Lost 2 Pounds - Damn Those Waffles!

I started to eat better and began with changing back my breakfast. For like 2 months I would have waffles for breakfast.

Well, since I stopped a few days ago, I already lost 2 pounds! I can't believe that would make such a difference. I did a little Weight Watchers calculations and my morning meal was about 6 points! YIKES!

So, now I am back to my old breakfast of some fruit and those honey puff wafer things I wrote about a long time ago. Instant change.

Next up is slowing down on the Starbucks -  that makes me cry just thinking about it.

But Fashion Week is right around the corner and I don't want to be thinking about my weight and how it affects my clothing when I should be worrying about working.  I have a few weeks left - I hope I can do it.

5 more to go.

Vera, 6pts for breakfast isn't all that awful. You want your morning meal to be a good one - it's your fuel that gets you started for the day! Although, it's better to have lots of protein in it. As for the waffles, don't give them up. I eat NutriGrain waffles with blended up berries on top (usually strawberries & blueberries together) - major yummy. I eat a cup of oatmeal every morning and a lot of days I have egg whites.

Mmmm eggos. I love the blueberry ones. Of course you'll lose the weight. you did it before so you know you're capable. The question is: how do I start to lose weight?!?! I went to an NFL and a baseball game yesterday in Detroit with my bf. Beer, stuffed pretzels, pizza, fries, hot dogs, cotton candy, chicken wings, muffins, pop, and bagels probably made me gain 5lbs right there! LOL. You literally can't eat healthy away from home at those events.

I dig Kashi Honey Sunshine. It's a healthy version of Cap'n Crunch. You'll lose the weight in no time!

I got some tips from a trainer I worked out with...I used to take 2 large spoonfuls of part skim ricotta cheese, season it with a little salt and pepper, and cook an egg over easy and put it on top of the ricotta. It even tastes great with some homemade tomato sauce on top. I used to always do this on weekends to avoid having any bread with the egg.

2 lbs is great in a few days! I've been trying to start some sort of diet, thanks to Sparkpeople.com I think I may almost have it figured out. I just eat too many calories. I don't consider myself fat, just overweight, but I don't want to get too unhealthy. I've never had to worry about what I eat until recently as my metabolism slows down. Sparkpeople.com is free and tracks what you eat and how much you work out. It's really great!(Sorry, they should probably pay me for that ad! LOL)

homemaid sour milk or baked milk is great help to normalise digestive tract all together and you loose some weight as the result. I'm so used to it by now.
