My Writer From Chile Is Coming To Visit Me

(sorry about the misspelling - my mind is out of it)

One of my writers is flying into NYC this evening and staying with me for 2 days. I feel terrible that I won't be able to spend time with Kyle considering I have to go to my grandmother's wake and funeral, but it will be nice to see her.

When Liam was born I hired her - and she has been a huge part of INO ever since. I wouldn't be able to spend time with my children without her.

I wish I could do more for her this week - but it's just horrible timing.

She's on a trip around the world. Can you believe it? She's coming up from Florida - then on Friday she's off to Europe. So jealous.

Lucky! I've always wanted to go on a tour of Europe, spending extra time in Switzerland, the land of my ancestors!

I'm sure she understands why you are committed to be elsewhere. There is lots to do in NY, she will keep busy.

Yes, she will understand, Vera. These things happen and we have no control over when. :(

That's so exciting that she gets to go to Europe next. Lately, so many of my fb friends are traveling the world! I get excited to see their pics, but I admit I'm envious too, lol.

Oh well, to ease my pain ;) I just ordered some stuff from Hautelook...aye yi yi..okay, I could not resist. I got some Perricone toner, moisturizer and an eye treatment at more than 1/2 off. I bought a pair of big hoop earrings w/malachite for $20....AND...I find I sleep better on high thread count sheets so I indulged and got the Michael Kors set...also 50% off. I checked the online prices and these usually don't dip quite that low in price so I went for it.

I think I'm going to need sample sale rehab if this keeps up.

Ooooh, so you're THE Kyle! :) Which places are you going to visit in Europe? I'm from Europe, so feel free to ask some questions here...If you're going to Belgium, make sure to visit Ghent! It'll knock you off your feet. Enjoy the trip! I just got back from my first trip to America and loved it (we traveled around California)!

Okay, I recognize Kyle too (only by your tagline, LOL)...welcome Kyle. Hope you enjoy the rest of your travels! Everyone is going to Europe right now. I'm soo jealous! I wonder if Vera will let you do a little pic post when you return?

Sofie V - I'll have to look into Ghent. Do you guys know the blog Celebrity Dirty Laundry? She just left Venice for Paris and then is visiting Belgium also. Sofie, where did you visit in CA? That's where I live :)

All Europeans want to go to America and Americans want to go to Europe, it's funny! Ghent is actually the city where I go to university. It's basically a city from the medieval ages, but yet there is at the same time this vibrant atmosphere. I like it here. :) How cool that you live in California. We started out in LA, then Las Vegas, then the national parks, then San Fransisco and then we went down to LA again along the coast (Big sur, Monterey,..). Needless to say, I loved it! Beautiful places and very friendly people. Coolest trip I ever had, but I'm only 20 so I got a lot more to explore. ;)
