Are Big Changes In Store For 'Jon And Kate Plus 8'?
Well, if Hailey Glassman was speaking for boyfriend Jon Gosselin yesterday when she called TLC "the lying channel," it sounds like TLC is also unhappy with Jon, according to TMZ.
We're told they fired off a letter to him, claiming he was in violation
of the morals clause of his contract, partly because he's been seen
going in and out of bars and drinking."
TMZ claims Jon is in talks to appear in a show called 'Divorced Dad's Club,' but Jon is worried about his TLC contract.
Meanwhile, Kate reportedly is taking on more than half of the parenting responsibilities, and the court put her in charge of the families' finances because she was deemed "the more responsible party."

into a joint account. Jon and Kate each took a cut, but Jon spent his

I can't say this is shocking news, but it is sad. I wonder if TLC would consider writing Jon out of 'Jon and Kate Plus 8,' have the focus shift just to Kate as a single mother with the kids, and Jon could go do something else.

Okay, seriously, all joking aside, what the hell has happened to this man??? What happened to the "I'm uncomfortable being famous" guy who wanted no part of the show anymore, or the notoriety that came with it? Is he unbalanced? Has he lost his mind? I really don't understand. Well, I can understand the fact that he feels like he had too much responsibility too early in his life (not that I approve of his actions or the decisions he's been making lately), but selling stories to the paps on the side? Blowing through all his money in a few short months?? I hope his family has a sit-down with him, and that his mom smacks him upside the head.

TLC is saying he violated the morals clause of his contract because he's drinking and going to bars!!!!!!! Is this the most immoral thing TLC could come up with? Drinking? What about screwing around on your wife? What about hanging out with his new pot-smoking floozy? I am not passing judgment on these kinds of activities, to each his own, but it amazes me that TLC decided to call him out on the drinking bit.
Jon's behaviour is a lot like my ex-husband who was bipolar, people don't change overnight unless there is something wrong with them!

I second that! he needs to do his bar hopping, skank chasing and pot smoking out of the public eye so his kids don't have to relive it for the rest of their lives. You go Kate! I hope Kate gets full custody so she can keep him away from the money and the skanks away from the kids. Time for some consequences for his actions.

I might be wrong, but I remember an episode were Jon said they were doing the TV show so they can afford to take their kids out and so they can be with them. I also thought they were doing the show so some of the money goes to a college fund, not to partying?

I'm definitly in if they write him off! Can't stand the parts of the show he is in. She is dedicated to her kids and working hard to be positive on the show, let her shine, she deserves it.
He and K-Fed need to go on The Biggest Loser. They can be team mates.

Kate was always the more responsible party. Jon was just another child that she had to take charge of, which is incredibly frustrating to have to tell another adult who is also the other parent how to take care of the kids in their day to day lives. She may have been controlling of him but he asked for it. Now, yes he is feeling like he had too much responsibility tooo early n life.....too bad for him! Ha! They made choices together about this path. As far as what he is doing now to make more cash...pics of the kids...welll that's just wrong. But isn't he also hosting some pool party at some Vegas club? TLC has to catch him on something even if its technical so they can get him off the show. At this point I think he should be cut out of it and then see how he fairs!

Kate is the only one who isn't worried about herself. Yeah she's not perfect but Jon certainly isn't being a good father to his children.

I'm a fan of the show, or was. It seemed like they were going to have a normal show again, even if Jon and Kate were in different episodes seperately. I even thought, how great for American families to be able to relate to a divorced couple going through normal problems.
But, as I said the other day, the man can't handle even the tiniest bit of freedom. He's just ruined the whole show with his immature little games. He missed out on his youth, now he's acting like a big child. What an example to set for divorced father's everywhere. "Leave your wife and life can be a big party!" I still can't get over the fact that he locked Kate out of her own home, just because it was "his time to see his kids!" Sounds like he has a problem with Kate, not Kate with him, like he's been claiming. That was just being plain mean and spiteful. I think TLC would be wise to just end the show altogether. Jon has killed the spirit of it. Jon is where all the negative press is coming from. He's the one running around with other women, making deals to have parties in Las Vegas, forcing Kate to have to call the cops just so she can go back to her own home. He's turned the show into an MTV style drama. Not the family-oriented style show I used to enjoy. Man he sucks! - Mandi

I would love to see the show with just Kate. I was never one of those kate bashers, even though I thought she was hard on him and spoke to Jon like a child, but, I thought if I had 8 kids, I might be crabby sometimes too!! I would so love to just see Kate and the kids! I dont' doubt he loves his kids, I think he's just going thru some "man" thing..
Maybe now the people that were bashing Kate can understand why she spoke to Jon like a child. He acts like a teenager, Kate knew she was the more responsible and mature one. The truth is finally out!

I think they should write him out. He isnt behaving like a parent that should be setting any examples. It might be healthier to remove him, because his children might be better off not seeing his behavior on-screen. I am so disappointed in him, and wish he was more focussed on his children.

Those kids deserve some privacy in their lives. The show needs to be cancelled.
TLC IS COMPLICIT IN THIS EXPLOITATION OF A FAMILY AND IT CERTAINLY HAS NO PLACE TAKING SIDES WHEN A FAMILY IMPLODES WHILE THEY COVERTLY ASSIST AND PROFIT FROM THE LIES AND FALSEHOODS.
HOW DARE THEY PULL THE MORAL CRAP WHEN THEY PAID KATE & JON TO COVER UP THE SPLIT SO THEY COULD SELL THE VIEWERS A TOTALLY FAKE REALITY SHOW KNOWING FULL WELL THAT THE KIDS ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A WAR ZONE AND IN DIRE NEED OF THERAPY.

As much as everyone has hated Kate for being a controlling b^%#, I think she is a great mom, and it seems like Jon needed that. Jon just bugs me now as he needs to do the boy things he never got to do.
Not sure if there is enough single mom's out there that would watch her though, but I would watch her being a single mom with 8 kids.
Yes, write him out! It's disgusting that he felt his personal happiness was more important than the kids! I think Kate will survive and he'll turn into a pudgier dork than he already is. Who wants to watch that!

The show entitled “Jon and Kate plus 8” goes on in spite of the issue. But, according to the report, Jon Gosselin wants TLC to fire him and he’s doing everything to make it happen. Why Jon Gosselin fired rumors are circulating is that he apparently is not making any friends at TLC, the network that carries the show about him, his ex wife, and his kids, and made him rich. He apparently wants to start his own reality show, called the Divorced Dads Club – which would constitute a probable breach of contract. Having the Gosselins and their kids all go away and never come back onto television would be a wonderful gift to some people. (They call us "intelligent".) If the Jon Gosselin fired rumors prove true – the show made him millions.
