'The Biggest Loser' Trainer Bob Harper Introduces New Wii Fitness Game
Yesterday I had the opportunity to work out with Bob Harper from 'The Biggest Loser'. Needless to say, I am unable to move this morning. My right arm has gone numb and I am quite certain my left calf is going to fall off any second now.
What a work out!
Bob was helping promote the new interactive health and fitness video game sponsored by the NBC weight loss reality show. And it WORKS!
“The hardest part of getting in shape and staying fit is knowing what to do, as well as maintaining the desire to stick with it,” said Bob, The Biggest Loser trainer. “The Biggest Loser video game incorporates years of research and proven results taken from The Biggest Loser television show. This program offers personalized fitness and nutrition goals to give players the tools they need to lose weight and keep it off. ”
Scheduled for release this fall, The Biggest Loser video game is based on the highly rated NBC television show and will feature the expertise of both trainers - Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels. Players will be lead through comprehensive workouts and given nutrition goals to help them transform their lives through diet and exercise. The video game will also include Alison Sweeney, host of The Biggest Loser TV show.
What fun! Track your daily caloric intake, weigh in each week, learn new recipes to use at home and challenge yourself to lose weight according to your personalized plan.The game will actually set reasonable weekly goals and customize a work out based on those numbers. It's really amazing.

I don't watch the biggest loser, but I'd definitely be interested in checking this game out. I love the Wii fit and have incorporated it into my workout routine. The game looks like a great way to maintain a healthy lifestyle. It's almost like having a personal trainer since it customizes your workout and gives you recipes to reach your goals.

hmmm, I'm a bit skeptical. I bought Jillian Michael's Fitness Ultimatum 2009 and it was horrible. It was way too hard to do the simplest things, like the game didn't work well with the controllers or something. I traded it in for the EA Sports Active. MUCH better. More fun and I don't end up hurting myself by trying to make it work.
