Chris Brown DOES Remember Hitting Rihanna

"There have been reports on the internet that I didn’t remember what happened that night with Rihanna. I want to try and set things straight.
"That 30 seconds of the interview they used of me was taken from a one hour interview during which that same question was asked something like 4 or 5 times - and when you look at the entire interview you will see it is not representative of what I said.
"The first four times or how ever many times it was - I gave the same answer - which was that I didn’t think it was appropriate for me to talk about what happened that night. I said it was not right for me and it really wasn’t fair to Rihanna. The fifth time or whatever it was I just mis-spoke. I was asked, ‘Do you remember doing it?’ and I said, ‘No.’ "Of course I remember what happened. It was and still is a blur. And yes, I still can’t believe it happened because it is not me or who I am or is what happened like anything I have ever done before."
As I have said several times previously, I am ashamed of and sorry for what happened that night and I wish I could relive that moment and change things, but I can't. I take full responsibility for my actions. What I have to do now is to prove to the world that this was an isolated incident and that is not who I am and I intend to do so by my behavior now and in the future."

He just needs to go away..he's not helping himself with his comments.

I don't condone what he did, but enough's enough. The guy has been punished and he's fulfilling his duties of which are the consequence. But really, He's not the only issue in that relationship. Look at the amount of times Rhianna has struck HIM. She's just as abusive, so stop acting like Chris is the ONLY problem.
I don't think a couple should put their hands on each other for any reason, and I also don't think a man should beat on a woman regardless of who started.

BULL! The punishment does not fit the crime. She didn't choke him to within an inch of his life. "She's just as abusive" - GET REAL!!! Do not compare the two. A slap is a far cry from attempted murder. Call it what is was. I don't agree with violence of any sort but CHRIS is the problem! He was an animal - biting, choking, punching...puleez!
The other times he beat her must be a blur too; punk bitch needs to stick a dick in his mouth and shut the f*ck up already.

Amen sister!

He meant to say he doesn't want to remember because then he'll have to be responsible for his behavior and answer to his crime.
129675 points
He is answering for his crime or don't you watch the news?
1984570 points
The punishment doesn't fit and he never acknowledges the severity of what he did. It is always played down and spun. I hear excuses...."It's not who I am...blah, blah, blah"

The Judge, the higher authority in this case, disagrees with you.
1984570 points
So what! He made a plea bargain because he knew if he tried to fight the charges, he'd go away for a while. The Judge had no choice but to sentence according to the plea deal. BTW - just because a judge said something doesn't make it right. Judges make decisions based on prison overcrowding not justice. Deals are made all the time and it has nothing to do with justice. The Judge knew what a creep he was but has to adhere to certain guidelines. The US system of justice is corrupt and twisted. When Chris violates his probation, and he will, she will throw the book at him. She wasn't buying what he was selling.

"crickets chirping"

More mind numbing criticism from elaine with nothing intelligent to add...shocker...NOT! BTW - the chirping is just coming from inside your head as your try to wrap your mind around the truth. Keep at it; you'll get it eventually.

If the world (excluding me) can forgive Michael Vick, which apparently it has since he got cheered at the Eagles game, then Chris Brown should be forgiven too. He seems genuinely sorry.

making excuses all the time its not to be genuinely sorry

All Michael Vick has done is make excuses and offer phony apologies. He's been forgiven. AND HE KILLED THE DOGS

Sorry meme, but I don't think it's fair to the human race to equate the value of humans to that of dogs. Don't get me wrong, I think what Vick did was pretty atrocious, but what Chris Brown did was worse....imo
I agree with you on Vick and Chris, but I rather have the company of my baby Chloe than a human. Dogs don't betray you and are always loyal. They love you no matter what you look like or what you do; a dog's love is unconditional. I truly believe that God created dogs to remind humans of what love is suppose to be, that's just my opinion though.

I agree! Dogs are our teachers. People that hurt innocent animals are cowards. It's like beating up a small child. Killing, torturing and beating any living thing is SICK! Jeffrey Dahmer got his start torturing animals. I think people who do that should get way stiffer sentences. Vick should have been put away for a long time. He should not be applauded and make millions. He is sick and needs ongoing intensive therapy. I think people that support him are sick too!

I don't like to think that love involves my leg being peed upon because somebody is excited to see me.

He only retracted from his comment because everyone caught him on his lie. right after his statement his mother said he had come and told her what had just happened. you could see the on the video the Chris' body language that he did not want his mother to say that he wanted her to stop talking... watch video.
Maybe he wanted to punch his mother in the face to stop her from talking.

Anyone that has ever hit anyone for any reason should be ostracized just like Chris. Violence is violence, right?

I can't stand this guy, and frankly I'm sick of hearing about him.
Ohhhhhh he was misquoted!!!!! I feel SO BAD for him. POOR BABY

of course he wishes he could relive that moment and change things. that incident has ruined his image and therefore lost a lot of fans.

I really can't stand him. How can he 'accidentaly' say "no" to hitting her?? How is that even possible.

Oh, Chris Brown. Please stop talking. You're making things worse.
