Hit or Miss: Two Sided Striped Leggings

Hit or Miss: Two Sided Striped Leggings

Leggings have been hot for about two or three years now.  It's a shout out the 80's and I have to admit that I liked the trend at first but now it's getting a little old (thanks to Lindsay Lohan).  But these shiny spandex two-sided striped leggings are a bit too much for me.

They are from American Apparel and retail for $40. That alone is enough to convince me not to purchase them, but I just can't get into the fact that they have two sides to them. What do you think - is this a hit or miss?

When I was younger, I used to buy white and black panty hose, and cut out one leg from each - then pull them on. One leg would be all black, and one would be all white. This sort of reminds me of those days, except I looked adorable (Hahaha) when I did it, and these leggings are just ugly!
