I am a sneaker girl myself. Today's heels are just plain torture on the feet. I kicked mine off on the dance floor a couple of weeks ago at our son's wedding. Four hours of them was more than enough.

They werw barefooted because in Venice when you go on a boat for parties they ask you to take off your shoes... so... if the pictures came all from the boat's party they are all barefoot!!
