Chris Brown To Lead Michael Jackson Tribute

Chris Brown To Lead Michael Jackson Tribute

How soon the media forgets...

According to WENN, Chris Brown will make his musical comeback by headlining the upcoming tribute concert to Michael Jackson in Vienna, Austria.

Sorry, but I hope he gets booed off the stage. I usually try to stay as neutral as possible, but he hasn't even finished his community service obligations. What has he learned? What punishment has he received? This is ridiculous and absolutely too soon.

The R&B star has not performed in public since the Rihanna incident, which occurred after a pre-Grammy Awards party. Brown is now ready to make his return to the stage - he has been announced as the first headline act for the star-studded Jackson tribute concert set to take place on September 26th. The news was revealed by the King of Pop's brother Jermaine at a press conference in Vienna earlier today.

Michael was his idol and he (Brown) dedicated his first number one hit in the U.S. to Michael. Chris is a very, very talented artist."

Other artists on the bill include Mary J. Blige, Natalie Cole and Sister Sledge, as well as boyband US5.

What do you think about Chris headlining this show?

No, do not come over to Europe! Yes Chris has done everything I haven't- He ATTACKED a woman! I don't care if Rhianna still likes him, something like that is unforgivable and I applaud Vera for stating her opinion. He is scum and I think he should have gone to prision.

What about Ted Kennedy? He drove a woman off a bridge and ran off in the night but he redeemed himself. Mr Brown did not kill anyone. None of us know what happened in that car. A young woman supposedly found out her boyfriend was cheating on her and he beat her up and none of us has seen his mug shot. Some thing is fishy with this whole thing. Really let the young man do his job singing. It is none of our business if you don't like his music don't but it. There are worse things going on in the world. Let's talk about the child molestors hiding out under the nose of the law.

I, for one did not worship Michael, and it doesn't matter what you read on a gossip blog Rihanna hasn't gotten over that beating. This man hasn't shown any real remorse, or done his community service, or learned anything from the whole experience.

this is so true, let Chris do his thing without any problems, people do go on with their life, it is the media and crazy closed minded people that keep drama going. Rhianna, need to stop smelling in jayz's behind, he is the one that does not like Chris. I wonder why???

How soon we forget??? What???? Are you for real?
All I ever read about is this story. I'm SICK of hearing about it.
He EFFED up huge. Yes. There's no excuse and no condoning it. But get the EFF over it. Seriously. It's been 8 months of non-stop Chris Brown bashing. WE GET IT. He's a monster that should be stoned to death in the town square, blahblahblah. Do we have to have that opinion continually shoved down our throats? Maybe if he attempted suicide or something people would believe he was remorseful and finally shut the eff up?? I mean come on....
If you Miss INO want to talk about how soon we forget something - lets talk about the STANDING OVATION Michael Vick got on his first game back.

I won't support this. There is no remorse (only that he's embarrassed he was found out) and he hasn't learned a thing. It sends a really bad message to men out there abusing women to see him laughing, dancing and signing. If he wants to come back years from now, it might be different if he is a changed person. The person I see now still doesn't get it and carries on like it was a simple blip on his path. He needs to get counseling and get serious about this.

i don't believe that it's up to society to determined when a person has been "punished" enough, nor is it up to society to determine when a person is considered "rehabilitated". i wish the media would leave would leave this entire situation alone and allow Chris Brown and Rhianna to recover without being kept under public scrutiny.

When someone parties publicly the day of sentencing like he doesn't have a care in the world, he subjects himself to scrutiny. He should be exposed for what he is. I am sick of seeing the phony apology videos that high paid lawyers and PR staff put out and then an entirely different person minutes later. He can't have it both ways.

I would be more supportive if he actually showed some remorse. I think he IS talented but I think I also think what he did was a horrible horrible thing and he doesn't even publicly admit to what he did and show that he's actually sorry! He wants to act like this whole thing was no big deal.

I hope the negative folks take a minute to try and get some perspective: this is about MICHAEL JACKSON'S TRIBUTE, first and foremost. Its what Michael would have wanted, its what his family wants. No one comes as close as Chris Brown in terms of carrying on Michael's legacy as a performer. Say what you want about his personal life. Let him start giving his gifts again to the world (and starting in Europe is cool. If you don't like him, fine. We who forgive him will not be swayed, so lets stop arguing.

What many people are forgetting is that singing & dancing is his career and according to a court of law he is being punished.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

why would you hope he gets booed off stage... personal things in other artists lives which were negative ie. amy winehouse, michael jackson// no one booed them off the stage. chris brown is young he made a mistake and deserves a second chance... point blank. he did not hit rihanna then glorified it or made a song about pro-hitting women. he made a mistake. he is a talented artist and the best one that can deliver a tribute to the late king of pop/ let the man do what he does best.

i completely agree with you Vera. this guy is a sleaze, i dont care how old or young he is. and i wish ppl would stop saying he "allegedly" beat rihanna, he pled guilty and admitted that he did!!! to the first poster, michael jackson always maintained his innocence and never once admitted to abusing those boys, so its not the same thing. and i dont think that finding a woman beater repulsive is "closed-minded" whoever wrote that.
