Caravan and Oral B presented fashion for the masses off Bryant Park in their Spring 2010 Collective. Shanae Grimes came a bit early and dealt with all the attention with such grace and poise for a girl her age. Chris Noth walked in a few minutes before the show started, as did a few of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Maria Menounos strutted her stuff on the catwalk while other models carried what is apparently the new must-have accessory:the toothbrush. The first few models were shoeless and in sleepwear. The collection progressed into simple jersey dresses with screen prints, jeans and the staple tees. Quite a few tube dresses followed, in green, brown and orange. One of my favorite items of the collection was a knee-length denim dress with skinny straps, ruffled edges and a wrapped-skirt effect. Playful yet on trend, this was a fresh new take on the overdone denim dress. There was also a denim jumper that looked uber comfortable for summer days that are too hot for clothes. Flowered prints, another huge trend this season, found their place in the collection, in long flowing dresses and airy mini dresses. The last look was a white long dress with a simple bodice and an A-line skirt covered in feathers, another item that keeps popping up all over FW. After the show, Maria Menounos interviewed the Real Housewives and a few other guests.
