Gilles Marini is truly one romantic fella! He surprised his wife by buying her dream house for her birthday and kept it a secret!

"We have lived in this [apartment] complex for about five, six years, and every day we walk around the neighborhood," Marini says. "She always saw this one house on our walk and said, 'This is my dream house.' A month ago we saw the house was for sale."

But Marini had their real estate agent tell his wife it was already sold! Then he surprised her by taking her to dinner with their family and giving her a birthday card with a picture of the house inside and this poem:

" Eleven years of sweat, blood and tears. You never gave up ... It is a small way of showing you how I'm feeling. I love you, my wife, my soul, my everything."

I die! That is so romantic!

His wife's reaction?

"She pretty much died inside out," Marini says. "I was crying. Everybody at the table was crying ... It was one of the best days of my life."

Gilles was on Dancing with the Stars last season and also Brothers & Sisters but you Sex & The City fans may remember him as Samantha's beach house neighbor in the movie. Who could forget? LOL!
