I'm sure this is a huge relief to Erin Andrews! Police arrested Michael David Barrett at Chicago O'Hare Airport last night. The FBI said Michael faces federal charges of interstate stalking in order to take the videos, posting the videos online and attempts to sell them.

Appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show last month, Andrews said she thought her career was over once the nude footage of her began circulating on the Internet.

"I kept screaming, 'I'm done. My career is over. I'm done,' " she said.

FBI agents said they thought Michael had requested the room next to Erin's in a Nashville hotel and rigged the peephole to obtain the video. How disgusting!

Erin has said she wants whoever is responsible to face criminal charges and she herself will file civil lawsuits against this person. Hopefully people will get the message that this is NOT okay.

Update: Erin has released a statement about the arrest.

In a statement today, Andrews gave thanks to "ESPN for its support during this difficult time" and vowed to become the poster girl against such crimes.

"I hope that today's action will help the countless others who have been similarly victimized...I will make every effort to strengthen the laws on a state and federal level to better protect victims of criminal stalking. I am also grateful to those who have expressed their concerns and good wishes for my family and me."
