why don't you just ban the people you don't want instead of calling me a spammer. i was nice last time, but this time i have deleted you!!!! i am NOT SELLING ANYTHING. i am a housewife i do not have a job. good riddance:(!!!
Here is an email I got a few minutes ago from a woman who thinks I spend my days specifically blocking people's comments on my site when in fact I don't even READ comments on my website (except for here). She thinks there is some hidden agenda - that I am out to get her and everyone else who doesn't agree with me.
LOL! I give up. You have to laugh right? A month ago I would have written her back, but I am a new person after my mental breakdown thanks to Fashion Week.
Think what you want lady...

A great idea (if possible) would be to put regular users on a non-spam list so that we don't have to see the message everytime we comment and wait hours for our comment to post. Do you get a lot of actual hate mail? Because you know that you don't deserve any of it!

It just kills me that people take the time to write crap that like that. I'm a housewife, too, but I certainly don't have time to send random hate mail to blog owners. LOL I love the "I'm not selling anything!" part - that made me giggle. Maybe this could be part of a new humor section on INO - Hate Mail Humor! LMAO And good for you for not letting loons like this get to you anymore! :D

I agree with what everyone else said, Sometimes breakdowns seem like a bad thing, but really can turn out to be good! :) I would get spam messages, sometimes, and I was just confused, not mad. (I hope I didn't come across as angry in my comments on the spam thing....lol I wasn't) Love your site, and I'm glad you aren't lettin git get to you!
That's the right attitude, Vera! I'm 22 and still in the process of letting these negative things not hurt/affect me. Hopefully I'll get to where you are soon.

Ignore it all Vera, this lady obviously has something else that's bothering her because there is no way a normal person would react like that. I know it's easier said then done but try to keep the negativity from affecting you.

My comments get marked as spam on a regular basis so I now I don't comment as much nor do I visit the site as much as I use to. I can slightly understand the womens frustration with the site. Since the regular users who have been faithful readers & posters since the lauch of your site (and changes) and put the word out there for others to visit you site can't even post their comments or rack up some points by posting then they will probably just abandon the site. Hey it's the price of business, you win some, you lose some. Whattayougonnado?!?!

I love the site, and comment on it quite a bit. I get the spam message sometimes after trying to post a comment and it is quite frustrating! Can't believe that someone would get so annoyed about it though! Good for you for not getting too bothered about it- there's more important things in life!

I want one of those breakdown things, I need a new outlook on life. In all seriousness tho, don't let her and others like her get to you. Your mom is right, you can't please everyone so don't waste your time trying. It would be an effort in futility. She obvioulsy took it personally, when it in fact it happens to a lot of us.

I also like the, "I have deleted you!!!!!!!!" with a million exclamation points. Very mature. And nonsensical. Not quite sure what the, "I have no job" statement is trying to say, but you go girl! You go and don't work!
I'm surprised you get "hate mail" Vera. INO is one of the very best sites in my humble opinion. I'm pretty picky about what I read.

Oh my word....well, she is probably having a bad life ?, lol, and took it out on you. I don't know how any right-minded person could possibly think you have time to even read all the comments, let alone specifically ban certain people. The spammer thing happens to me a lot but I know it's just a glitch or a coincidence. Some people are clueless and/or paranoid. When I look at the scope of this site - it is really huge - plus how full your life is, Vera...I really don't know how you do it. My hat's off to you - you're amazing! xoxo

Yet, people who choose to live their life with the utmost minimal web interaction in their lives get made fun of.
Go figure, anything one does or say they can get ridiculed, this is what the world is about. That's why the world is so screwy, look at the shows/story line that the children are exposed to in their most formative years. What does that tell us? And if you choose not to have your children watch these shows then someone has something negative to say about your parenting skills. Somedays are so much worse than others but we have to rely on our faith to get through the days. So if that lady wanted to voice her opinion she sure as heck can. That's also one of the things that the internet is all about all about.
