Marcia Cross Says Her Children Have Inherited Her Lack Of Fashion Sense

Marcia Cross Says Her Children Have Inherited Her Lack Of Fashion Sense

LOL! What a thing to say about toddlers. I'm pretty sure all of their options are purchased by adults - therefore it's not really their fault.

Marcia Cross admits her daughters have inherited her lack of fashion sense. The ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress says her twins Eden and Savannah like boring clothes and have no interest in adventurous garments. She told US TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres:

“I’m a terrible dresser. Everything you see me in is made up from somebody else. I thought maybe these girls will have a little something going on. So I was like, ‘Whatever you want to wear…’

“But I have one who will only wear navy blue from head-to-toe - that’s Savannah, who we call Savvy. Socks, underwear, leggings, shirt and navy blue ties in her hair. Eden will only wear a green shirt and black pants. It looks like I’m a really boring dresser and I dress my kids that way, but truthfully it was their choice!”

When your children were young, were they very firm about what they wanted to wear? My eldest is 4 and she really doesn't give me a problem yet. I'm just wondering when all of that starts to kick in.

My daughter is a fashionista. She has her own style and has since she could walk. When she was just a toddler she would dress herself and change outfits many times a day.

Funny, neither of her children are wearing the colors that she says they demand. Also, my daughter wore what I put on her until she was old enough to make those decisions for herself...and it wasn't at 4.

I can't recall ever not choosing my own clothes... but my mother never really cared about fashion and figured there were more important things to concern ones self with.

My daughter has been picking her own clothes since she was 2.5 , no idea where this is coming from, i was an absolute opposite of her at that age and older, i couldn't care less, whatever my mum bought i'd wear. Mine wouldn't wear anything but dresses and skirts.

When I was little I insisted on wearing shorts, in the wintertime. So my mom made me wear them with tights. A year later all the kids were wearing that combination :D

Well, I only have a boy, so IDK! He's 9 and does like giving input but I could throw any outfit on his bed and he'd put it on.

Such a double standard. Angieho wears nothing but black and grey but some say she's got style. Angieho's simple is great but Marcia's is a lack of fashion sense...hmmmmm

I did the same thing when I was little and would dress entirely in red or blue for a day or two.
