Jon Gosselin's Appearance Fee
Tampa, Florida's MJ Morning Show wanted embattled reality TV dad Jon Gosselin to co-host on their show for one morning. They reportedly offered him two first-class, round-trip airline tickets, limo service, and a "first class" hotel room, according to TMZ, but Jon's people had one more request: and appearance fee in the $10K - 12K range.
Team Gosselin justified the amount by saying, "[Jon's] name and appearance on your show will instantly draw press ... and will be a high point for the show." The rep also describes Gosselin as "quite funny, sharp witted and interesting."
The radio host tells [TMZ] he "fell out of his chair" when he read the demand.
Isn't this part of what TLC is suing Jon for: violating his exclusivity contract with them? Maybe radio isn't included.
In all fairness, I'm sure Kate gets paid for her appearances. And Jon has to earn money somehow (especially if he doesn't have that $155K he's been ordered to repay). Do you think Jon's worth it?
