So My Mommy Brain Took Over

Let's see if you find this as humorous as I do.

I go to my doctor appt and sign in. Fill out the forms and hand them in. Turns out my appointment wasn't for today... it was for TOMORROW.

They couldn't squeeze me in today, and I can't go tomorrow because I am doing something with Natalie's school.

The following week the doctor is on vacation which means I had to push back my appointment 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sigh - with the free time I had on my hands I ended up going to get a haircut. I told the lady to give me the LOB and she really didn't get what I was saying despite my efforts to explain what I meant. I ended up just getting about 3 inches cut off my hair... not a very sexy haircut. It's very plain but very healthy. So I will deal.

And like so many of you said - it will grow back soon enough.

Right after the cut, we headed over to my in laws for dinner. We put the kids to sleep and I sewed (to the best of my ability) Natalie's princess costume. I hope it STAYS TOGETHER for the next two days. Fingers crossed.

I know the feeling. I switched to a new dentist last year and forgot about 2 appointments. Now they call me excessively before my appointments and ask me to return their calls to confirm I will be there. I am probably blacklisted in their computer system.

Don't worry we've all done that once or twice and I agree laughter is the best medicine! Usually for a specific haircut I always bring a picture. Just leave that picture of Gweneth on your phone and when ever you do decided to cut it or have time you can just show the hairstylist the pic.

I have so many hairstyles over the years. My now husband watched over the years and has put the NO on my really short cuts. 1/2 inch is a major NO for him. Hopefully you do not have curly hair. LOL. You will be spending a lot of time to straighten it.
