Mariah Carey Lives Up To Her Diva Reputation
Apparently Mariah Carey's diva demands were a bit too much for one British television presenter, Kate Garraway, when Mariah taped an appearance on her show, 'Good Morning Television.'
"We had Mariah Carey in the GMTV studios last week, where she was pre-recording an interview with Lorraine Kelly. I've heard a lot of rumors about her being a diva over the years and guess what? It turns out it's all true!'
"While Mariah was very nice, the amount of people she had in her entourage was hilarious.
"They outnumbered the entire GMTV crew! She had two people to lower her on to the GMTV sofa, in case her dress got crushed, one person to walk in front of her backwards at all times in case she fell over and several people behind the camera making sure she was going to be filmed from the right angle!
"Have you ever heard anything like it? Oh, and she brought her own toilet roll as well."
I'm lucky I wasn't there: I would not have been able to keep a straight face through it all! Well, it's not like Mariah denies being a diva.

I truly loved Mariah years and years ago when she seemed like this sweet girl next door. Then I watched some New Years Eve special and she was a snooty nightmare. After that, I couldn't stand to hear about her at all, stopped listening to her music, etc. She takes herself WAYYYYY too seriously. That broad is insane. Now if she starts winning awards for her acting - she will be like an uncontrollable monster! Demanding millions for roles, adding even more people to her entourage, etc.

This was double post and I'm not sure why. This website does some pretty whacky things, like sometimes when I'm typing I get booted over to another post without doing anything but typing on the keyboard. It's very frustrating. You should probably change the focus off of the "save" button because something is up with that.
Being a diva doesn't mean being a bitch! I mean the woman just said that mariah was a nice person she is just too full of herself which is the case of every diva in the entertainement industry (aretha, madonna, whithney and so on). I like her because she is always sweet to her fans and I don't think she takes herself seriously i think she is just too much into being a diva!

Funny - I just read a blurb from gossip columnist Liz Smith. Liz swears up and down that Mariah is not a diva and that all this is part of her act. She says Mariah is a total sweetheart. Why would anyone act like a diva? Just to get attention I suppose? Seems like we're seeing a lot of that aren't we..
