Zac Efron Explains Why He Went Bungee Jumping

Zac Efron explained to David Letterman that his decision to go bungee jumping was a calculated risk, and actually less dangerous than other things he wanted to do.
"We decided it was a good idea because if we were going to do something else - like mountain biking - there's a chance you're going to fall off and get injured," he said, then adding: "But how often does the rope get snapped?"
Responded Letterman: "Right... You look at things in a calculated fashion."
Zac's rationale is certainly interesting- LOL! A plunge off a cliff lasts for, what, 15 seconds? As long as the cord holds, you should be fine. A person could go mountain biking for hours, providing more of an opportunity for an accident ;)
Does that reasoning work for you?
You can check out Zac explaining it himself here.

I can imagine that bungee jumping might give a person a gigantic adrenaline boost. Now mountainbiking on the other hand...

yeah bungee jumping sounds more exciting and extreme. he should try skydiving, now that's fun!
I don't understand why he needed to explain this, but i agree it's not as dangerous as mountain biking, it's a bit scary but fun. It has it's risks but so do a lot of other hobbies.
just needed to add: i think mountain biking is less thrilling especially when you're not experienced enough to do all the tricks and ride really scary routes, but different kind of indjuries do occur quite easily..

I'd rather skydive than bungy any day...
