Cate Blanchett was spotted taking her sons, Dashiell and Ignatius, out for a walk on what looks like a chilly day in New York City. Maybe this walk will help her calm her nerves!
Cate's next role is playing Blanche DuBois in 'A Streetcar Named Desire' on Broadway, and the Oscar-winning actress admitted to Women's Wear Daily (WWD) that she's nervous about taking on the iconic role.
"We are bringing an American classic back to American audiences, so of course that’s nerve-wracking," Blanchett said... "It's also pretty exciting. [The audiences] are very astute, and particularly out of BAM [where the play opens Friday]."

she'll do great.
She's already done this in Australia and gotten good reviews, so she'll be great. There was also an incident where the actor playing Stanley Kowalski hit her on the head with a 60s radio by accident. *yikes*. I guess bringing an American story back to American audiences will be more nerve-wracking as there might be a higher value placed on accuracy/authenticity.
