Remember the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ storyline where Kris Jenner didn’t want Kendall Jenner getting her own place when she turned 18? Well, the momager doesn’t seem to have the same qualms about her youngest daughter: Kylie Jenner just bought her own house for $2.7 million. Can you believe ‘Glee’ is coming to an end? The show seems to have gone out on a bit of a whimper: I haven’t heard much about it, but then, that could be because I don’t watch the show. Lea Michele tweeted a bittersweet picture on twitter of a special memento she took on her last day of filming. Check it out after the break. If this one is true, I’ll be SHOCKED. I mean, it’s clear this celeb isn’t interested in having kids, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But could she be having her people fuel the stories that she’s pregnant? Get the goss after the break.
To celebrate 30 years at Pebble Beach, AT&T gave 4 remarkable people a VIP experience and unprecedented behind the scenes access to this year’s tournament. Their week long mission was to give the world a Fan’s Eye View of this one-of-a-kind stop on the PGA Tour.

The group came together from very different backgrounds and with very different goals and mindsets, but the sport of golf brought them all together. Dan McLaughlin decided to quit his job, create the “Dan Plan” and strive to become a professional golfer, while having exactly zero golfing experience. Tiffany Fitzgerald wanted to share her newfound love of the game with other women to try to make it as beloved and integral in their lives as it has become in hers…and created Black Girls Golf. Katie Horsford is also striving to become a pro, appreciating golf not only for the game itself, but for allowing her to become the outgoing and fun-loving person she is today. Tim Lang found golf when he needed it most and has used the sport to defeat his physical, as well as mental and emotional shortcomings to get back to being the confident and successful person her was before he lost his leg while defending our country in Iraq.
As the group came together and started their week long experience with AT&T at the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, they could only feel excitement. Tasked with going behind the scenes then reporting back via social media to all the fans, the foursome started things off right…playing the Boys and Girls Club benefit tournament. Not a bad way to dig into some Pebble Beach golf and do something good for others. The rush of the venue and the gorgeous scenery took the edge off the group soon after they teed it up!
After that, the foursome received some amazing instruction at the Pebble Beach Golf Academy. They group was lucky enough to get 4 different lessons from different instructors! Aside from the unequalled instruction, the group came away with a sense of awe at just how far technology has come in teaching and enhancing the game of golf for players. I mean…a robot that helps you swing like a specific golfer…unreal!
Once they were feeling really good about all the amazing lessons they received, it was time to meet some tournament participants! I think Katie is still thinking about meeting her hero, golfer and AT&T athlete Jordan Spieth (who wouldn’t)!! The AT&T Pebble National Beach Pro-Am is very special in that it brings together a special mix of professional and amateur golfers, as well as top-tier celebrities, for the purpose of not only playing some great golf but playing some great golf to raise money for charity. The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am has raised over $120M for a variety of charities to date…with many more to come.
As part of their week, the foursome had the privilege of helping one of the many charities the Pro-Am benefits, the Veteran’s Transition Center of Monterey County. The mission of the Veterans Transition Center is to provide services for Monterey County’s homeless veterans and their families. By providing veterans with traditional housing, emergency services and case management programs, veterans will once again become employable, productive members of the community. The foursome was able to deliver some needed help to some deserving veterans and see all the good the game of golf can do.
Golf was something these 4 people used to transform their lives for the better and this past week’s Fan’s Eye View solidified their love for the game and confirmed that all they had been doing and working for was right for them. They learned a lot about the game and about life, and had a great time doing it. I’m pretty sure if they could do it all again, they would in a heartbeat…and so would I (ahem AT&T).

Now this video just goes to show that kids often know the right thing to do. The question becomes: what happens to some of us as we get older? Italy made a domestic violence awareness video called ‘Slap Her’ to address the issues of domestic violence in Italy. In the video, boys are introduced to a pretty girl, are asked what they like about her, and then are told to “Slap her.” The boys’ reactions are telling.
